    thats will give me the same results as just getting all of the above from just nutrient dense foods?

    That would not be IIFYM. Technically, in the short term, there is no reason as to why you wouldn't, however, in the long term, that wouldn't be the 'healthiest' of options.

    the amount of sugar in processed foods is not moderate though. 1 piece of cake is easily 200-300 calories from refined sugar

    and lets not pretend you can eat these processed foods "in moderation". you saw OPs meal, 400 calories from sour patch kids, in 1 sitting

    I don't know what ****ing cake you eat, but one slice does not have that much. There would also be fat added there, so if on sliec would give you 400-700 calories then you're eating one big ass cake not a slice.

    IIFYM clearly states that i can eat whatever the fuk i want as long as i fit my macros. Then you ****ers say o you have to fit your micros as well. Then o you have to eat %80 of your diet from nutrient dense foods.

    What if i get all my macros from processed foods, all micros from supplements and all fiber from supplements. According to the true definition of IIFYM thats no different than eating 100% clean foods. IIFYM is flawed beyond belief

    no you can't, once you start eating that **** it just adds up. people are addicted to sugar, especially refined sugar. it's better to be cold turkey than try to moderate it.

    in any case i'd rather be eating protein than **** like sour patch kids/cake

    IIFYM is Discretionary Calorie Allowane renamed. I've posted what it means, but you're just ignoring it, and making flawed scenarios that do not even apply to real life.

    'Clean dieting' is also flawed. What If I eat nothing but rice, chicken and olive oil? That leaves me deficient in mictronutrients and would drive anyone insane.

    did you know that protein and food itself is highly insulinogenic? A high protein low carb meal spikes more insulin than high carb low protein meal.

    Let's all avoid protein. Yeah, that makes sense.
