Does my surgery scar affects judgement?

Hi,I want to compete in the future,but I have 1 inch scar tissue on my stomach which is apparently visible.
I noticed that all the bodybuilders on the mag have no scar,so that's seems scar is a big no no for a bodybuilder?
Can I do some treatment to remove it?

I have a scar on my abs. So does Roelly Winklaar (a gigantic one at that). Scars don't matter.

Shouldn't make too big of difference if any at all.

Lots of bodybuilders over the years have had scars. Roelly has one of the biggest. George Farah and Kris Dim have them too.

Lots of blemishes and scars are removed in the magazine photos. Can't always go by those. Dennis Wolf's stretch marks in his armpits magically disappear in Flex contest coverage.

As already mentioned there are goood (well placing) bodybuilders with huge massive blemishes and scars. First off: contest tanning products are good at hiding blemishes. This is partly why you never see a bodybuilder on stage with acne. It's simply hidden by the tanning products.
Secondly, let me show you some very very good bb'ers with scars:

Roelly Winklaar. His entire abdomen is cut in half by a 10-inch scar.




Frank McGrath. Also entire ebdomen cut in half by a scar. Multiple other massive scars not visible in this picture.




Essa Obaid. Entire body COVERED with stretch marks. Still won a IFBB pro show on his DEBUT
