    Question HEY KOOL-AID! OH YEA!

If been on a keto diet about 3 months now, and the results have been great! However, I'm pretty spent on WATER WATER WATER! I drink tons of it, so I'm plenty hydrated. I'm just BORED with it. Are their any other things to drink? I had to give up all the "good" stuff when I started (coffee, soda, beer), so I am really hurting for something, anything other than water.

Last week in the grocery I had a stroke of genius and picked up some unsweetened kool-aid and a box of Splenda sugar replacement. Damned if I didn't drink about 2 gallons of it that day! I realize I gotta watch the carbs (approx 1 carb per packet), but hopefully their isn't anything else in the kool-aid that would sabatoge my diet. Since my first binge, I've been restricting it to a couple glasses a day and have still been going well.

you could also try "crystal light". Per cup, it has about 0.4 grams of carbs, and it tastes great too. I drink about 1.5 litres of it each day and still manage to stay in ketosis. Don't know if it would be cheaper than kool-aid or not..........

They make sugar free kool aid. The grape isn't very good though.

Watch for any citric acid, can cause probs.

Black coffee is fine on keto. And I use the carb ups to indulge my flavour requirements for the week.
