freezing or keeping cold for one week, mixing the veggies and oatmeal

    I have 2 simples questions:
1- not having time to cook in the week, I decided to cook for one week at weekend. I wonder if I should freeze the cooked chiken burst or just keep them cool ? Also, I saw many receipt for fried chicken breast. But I* do not think it's a good idea, I* prefer it baked, grilled or in boiling water. Am I right ?
2- for the same reason, I mix my oatmeal with some fat free milk and I got some kind of milkshake. I do the same for my veggies specially a milkshake of broccoli !!! doest it change any thing about their nutritional values ?
    Many thanks
    Bye.

I would rather have the food cooked ahead stored in the refrigerator because I feel (pure opinion) the taste and texture suffers from freezing after cooking. It should be fine as long as the chicken is not close to the experation date.
As for the oatmeal and broccoli shakes I doubt their are any changes to the nutritional value

The FDA says to keep cooked chicken in the fridge for up to 4 days. Beyond that, it becomes a risk to eat(if it smells weird, definitely don't eat it). This is assuming your fridge stays at a constant 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Thanks. I do not count to keep them more than 4 days. Anyway, I pay attention that the color, taste, or smell is not changed.

I usually cook a few meals on Monday's, and it usually involved chicken. I still have some in my fridge that I'll eat tomorrow. Wouldn't keep it longer than that though. I've never had any problems with it.

You have access to extraordinary food. Why avoid such in preference to a remarkably bland diet?

He is right. If you read the stickies you will find it much easier to reach your goals. I just did a little math and through planning I get to have a Croque Madame this weekend

Most of the french foods that you call extra, are extra in taste but not essentially healthy. In most of them there are fat cream, mayonnaise, or any other kind of fat sauces. anyway... I usually work 9-10h per day and I do sport 1h30 per day too. I* do not have the time to make "roti de beauf" or "a duck confit. Also, as long as a food is healthy and tastes good is enough for me... not really into traditional extra food !

Why do you think those ingredients would be unhealthy?
