I am wondering what the difference is between the whey twin lab lean muscle protein and the twin lab mass protein. Thanks!

Not even going to bother to look at the profiles. This is strictly a marketing tactic. Eat (roughly) >500 cals over maintenance and you should gain lean muscle mass. Eat (roughly) < 500 cals over maintenance and you will still gain muscle but there will be more fat gain. This is a diet issue, not necessarily a supplement issue.
Let me put this in to perspective. I buy CytoSport Monster Milk (i think that's the title). It's marketed as a mass gainer, but i don't use it as one. I use it because i like the taste, and the macros are actually really good. The serving size is 2 scoops, i only use 1. You can adapt the supplement for whatever you need. Want more cals? Add more scoops. Want less cals, use less scoops. Now on other gainers where they consist of higher carb/fat ratio to protein my protocol wouldn't be as effective.
