Working Out and Not Losing Weight
Recently I lost about 20 pounds and I have about 15 more I want to lose. I assumed adding a work out routine would help but as soon as I started working out, I stop losing weight. It's about 6 weeks now and my weight hasnt changed. Ok, some may say what about your inches and honestly I have no idea but I don't see a difference in the way my clothes fit nor do I see a difference just by looking in the mirror. What can I do to increase my fat loss while working out? I would rather not stop exercising but if that is the only way to see a drop in pounds, should I just give it up until I get to my idea weight?

Lack of iron &or sleeping
The exercise is probably preventing lean muscle from being lost which is a good thing. You should take measurements to know what is really going on.
Has your diet remained EXACTLY the same since you started training? Do you count calories?
The answer to not losing weight is almost always to reduce calories... or increase energy expenditure.

your increase in exercise has also probably led to an increase in appetite. you must at least have a vague idea of what you consume each day if not tracking calories closely. lot of people think oh ill eat a snack cuz i jsut ran on the treadmill, usually eating more calories than they burned. diet is the key to weight loss/gain.
you also may be doing a workout program that isnt as effective at getting your body working. isolation exercise may give you a pump but full body compound movements are the best for getting your whole body involved and making you actually work. squats, dl, ohp, bench.
just some ideas, gl

Add cardio, also get your body fat tested. it's the best way to tell what your body is doing.

Carbs
Being a big advocate of the low carb/Atkins approach and originally from the south myself, I have to ask....... What's your carb intake? How often and how much do you consume white bread, rolls, pasta, Breaded foods, tortillas, rice, cereal, potatoes and sugars? I would try adjusting your carb intake or least eliminating the bad carbs/sugars.

I hit a weight loss plateu for about 2 weeks. The only thing that would break me out of it, was eating a lot for 2 days straight. I don't know if this jumpstarted my metabolism or what. I have more energy for my workouts. If you are starting to feel tired during your workouts and hit a plateau, eat a lot of calories/carbs for a day or two.

Can you give any more details as to what exactly you are doing?
If you're not keeping track, you should but that's besides the point. Just saying that you're working out doesn't really help me (us) figure out what's going on and why you aren't seeing results.
We have to know what you're doing and eating to get a better idea of how to help...

Yeh weight training alone isnt the best for losing fat.. do some running and sport ect. . clean up your diet and eat more (healthy only) as the dude above says its kinda hard to help if you dont provide details.. plus are u only measureing weight or doing some sort of skin fold tests? Cos weight alone is not a good indicator..

Go Dawgs!
If you have an iProducts check you the app Myfitnesspal. Its been amazing for me in getting over my plateaus and furthering my loss. I have a strict diet and a even stricter strength/cardio schedule, but counting calories is a huge part of losing weight, or atleast it is for someone like me who can easily over eat by adding in sauces and things you dont even think about.

calories in. calories out. go to nutrition forum, read calorie sticky by emma leigh...read it a couple more times...follow it religiously and I promise you will lose weight. promise. its the laws of physics.
