Ha! Dr. Oz sure knows how to get people excited about a "new" ingredient! We've actually read quite a bit of great weight-loss research supporting green coffee extract as well. So much so, that we included 200mg in our new Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite formula:

Subjects received high-dose GCA (1050 mg), low-dose GCA (700 mg), or placebo in separate six-week treatment periods followed by two-week washout periods to reduce any influence of preceding treatment. Treatments were counterbalanced between subjects. Primary measurements were body weight, body mass index, and percent body fat. Heart rate and blood pressure were also measured. The high-dose condition was 350 mg of GCA taken orally three times daily. The low-dose condition was 350 mg of GCA taken orally twice daily. The placebo condition consisted of a 350 mg inert capsule of an inactive substance taken orally three times daily. The two dosages of GCA used here were based on previous experience using chlorogenic acids in a human study of the decrease in postprandial glucose.*MusclePharm: Official Supplement of the UFC*

The supplement is great, but as I've stated before, needs more studies. Getting alot of hype, especially from the mainstream with not much studies.
It is proven safe and effective and has great reviews from users. It is the top rated weight loss supplement on our website and many others are catching on. Worth a shot if you are into supplements and looking to lose some weight.Owner of Top10WeightLoss.com

I used it as part of a stimulant free stack of raspberry ketones and african mango; seemed to help keep fat at bay while at a little over maintenance calories. The antioxidant effects are nice , glucose lowering, and its a great overall health supplement.

Definitely a worthwhile ingredient. This is why we use it in our fat burner, OnPoint.

So has anybody actually had any results?... I've went from 200 to 198 in a week... With heavy training, proper dieting and nutrition, is it just in my head or is the green coffee bean working?? I'm trying to reach 8% bodyfat by November so if it actually works id like to know if it DOES or if it's my cardio and training, thanks
