and i asked this asian kid how many sets he has.. he replied back, and i quote exactly what he said, "we are not doing it by sets. we are doing it by time and we still have 5 minutes left"

i just bert stared him and walked away.

Demotivating, because beginners pretty much ran the place. I might have seen a more advanced lifter once in 5-6 days.

Haha I have no idea how I'd respond to that ****. The small kids at my gym tend to move out of the way of all those who lift regularly. It's annoying how people at university gyms workout in packs. I've literally had to walk around 10 different dumbbells all clustered together for a group of guys. ****s annoying as ****. Gotta love the cardio bunnies though.

Fuarck I felt this feel today. Went to gym normal time when nobody is there. A wild herd of undergrads appeared, each in groups of 4 or 5 laughing, talking, doing anything but lifting. Approximately 75 percent of them were all trying to curl in the same area.

better than commercial gyms because college gyms always have better equipment, platforms/bumper plates for olympic lifts, plus all the broads are between 18-23, I'd love to go back and lift at my college gym

College gyms: One guy on the bench press, 6 guys around him shooting the sh*t about the dude bench pressing. Total time hogging bench: 20 minutes.

However, university cardio areas are often full of the good stuff. Alas, no one gets bigger watching college girls do cardio.

I hated it. There are some cuties that go so there is something to look at. most of the guys don't know what the **** they are doing. Also, my house has a bigger basement than the entire gym. Too crowded, not nearly enough weights. Nobody ever racks DB's when their done, so they go missing.

I haven't gone to that gym in a while, because I've been taking time off and going to a local community college. When I go back I'll be one of the 1% who know what the fukk they are doing. Should feel good lol.

Lots of skinny kids mean mugging at my university gym, lot of Indians/asians lifting with weird phucking form while wearing jeans and polos. Lots of phucks who will take up the squat racks and **** to do 10 sets with 5min breaks between sets.

My college gym is only 4 years old or so it's nice. Gets a little busy at times but I'll take that over my empty gym in my home town. Now that's a boring.

Yeah. My schools gym has become rundown as ****. Two out of three of the water fountains have been broken since my freshman year. No air conditioning or any type of decent air flow at all. Constantly stocked with noobs and kids taking years. Weights all over the place. Old weights, dumbells are often loose (they're the type with screws on them) or flat out broken.

Ended up bouncing and paying for a local gym in the Bronx. A million times better, has increased my motivation to lift ten fold

One annoying thing is people just drop the 95-100lb dumbbells on the heads so they are always bent. People need to learn to drop them in a controlled manner parallel to the ground.
