    Working triceps day after biceps?

    A quick question, im working my triceps day after biceps, it seems to be working but I just want to get a second opinion on it, is it ok to do that?

    Yes.. its more than ok. This is what I used to do and built some nice arms. Some people do push the pre-exhuast technique so they basically do pushing movements like bench and shoulder presses and then throw in some triceps after that. I can see that being a good thing if you have easily growing tri's and they are a strong part of ur physique. For others tho, I def think that triceps need to be worked out pretty much fresh so you can hit them hard to pack on size. Best time for this is as you said above, on your arm day when your doing biceps. Bodybuilding is a science tho.. everyone is different. If you say its working, stick with it. If you see its no longer working, switch to another technique such as doing most of your tricep work after chest or shoulders, and see how it works for your body.

    Biceps and triceps are antagonistic muscles...They are used for completely the opposite movements.

    So i would say that you'll be quite fine working them out in that fashion.
    If your body cannot handle it, make sure sheer willpower will.....

    That's your answer. There are very few cut and dried "rules" about training.
