lol...
My first job in the oil industry was a welders helper. I was working 10 hour days and made $10k my first month after taxes.
Now I'm a pipefitter. Not much harder but more pay. Pretty much right now what I do is go to a safety meeting right in the morning. Write up and FLRA and get ready for the day. That takes up the first hour. While I'm doing that I buy a couple stocks on my phone. Go work for half an hour. The markets open. Go hide and see what is happening with my stocks. Go back. Do **** all.
btw welder helper is easy if you are doing big pipe. When you are doing a bunch of small **** it gets annoying. Weld for half an hour. Pack up everything. Move to next weld. Realize its 100 feet up. Go climb to the top. Drop down a rope. Pull three cables up plus all his tools (100 feet of welding cable gets really ****ing heavy). Do half an hour of welding. Pack everything up and repeat. All the while hearing the welder be a queen for some reason cuz he is actually having to do work while making $105 hr (welders are the biggest princesses on site)

Part time job as a doorman at a restaurant, just checking I.D's and holding a line. $25 per hour paid out per night in cash. So easy.
It'd be like staying fat while running marathons because it's more impressive to finish a marathon when you're overweight. It might be impressive in the short run, but in the long run it just doesn't make any sense. ~breathinglife

He now owns 150 gas stations across the country and he buys oil daily. I just hangout with him and run around and take care of things like dropping off mail or picking his wife up from the airport etc.Owner of some cool companies.

Job title/description might be bannable but I think it qualifies so here's some info:
GOOD
-Not uncommon to make over $100/hr on certain jobs.
-Not hard work at all, but can be VERY tedious/repetitive.
-Fastest guy I work with can do $150/hr in some cases.
-Slowest, most monotonous days are still $25-$30/hr.
-Arrive when I want, leave when I want.
-When work is available, I can do 5 hours a week, or work 100 hours...its up to me.
BAD
-Work is sporadic, to say the least. Only 6-8 months of work over the course of a year, if I'm lucky
-Sometimes work non stop for 10 or 12 days bringing home $10k +, then I won't get a call for work for 3 or 4 weeks
-Sometimes I get called for a job while working another job, miss out on prospective work, and end up sitting around like a bum for a month
