A lot of people keep saying SS is better than doing bodybuilding splits (once a week or 2x a week).
Well, let's see some progress pictures of both then.

Conclusion of Starting Strength:
Most gains were fat, little to no muscle mass increase in any of the pictures. Note: The last result (case 4) the after pictures are much closer, and give the illusion of gaining more muscle than he really did (although he DID gain SOME muscle).

Okay man, you can't just take a bunch of pictures, without involving the same time frame and conclude that SS promotes more fat gain and less muscle than splits...
I actually agree with your point, routine's like SS are not particularly great for muscle gain and I much prefer traditional splits, BUT you can't just make that judgement on a few pictures...

Any routine will work provided you have a good diet and work hard. I never did a full body routine, gained 50 lbs of solid muscle in a year, and now that i look back on it i wish i did do SS as i prob could have gained more, but honestly they both work.
Staple Supplements:
Allmax Nutrition Isoflex
Universal Animal Pak
Universal Animal Rage
iForce Hemavol
Thermolife C-bol
Orange Oximega Fish oil

yeah I can't see 2 and 3 of the SS pics.
I mean i agree that SS- imo- may increase your strength in the excercises it uses, but doing only those lifts comboed with a ton of calories= alot of excess fat because your not burning much in the weight room.
Although I'm not expert and have not tried SS but that is just what it seems like

Splits case 3 and 4 went from really skinny ******* to less skinny ******* lol.
I don't think the comparison you're making is valid. The conditions are too different. If we could get pictures of people who did routine a or routine b for the same amount of time, giving them ALL time to bulk as well as cut (maybe some of the split guys bulked then cut, meanwhile case 4 of SS only had 5 months...and he gained a good amount of mass, probably would look good if he had the chance to cut), then it would be fair. But as of now this isn't much better than taking pictures of Jay Cutler and saying "He does splits, so it's the best."★★★USF MISC CREW★★★

guys...it doesnt matter which is better...as long as you get there, amirite?
a transformation is a transformation and if they got fat for some reason, they was a difference in diet and you could cut even more. Even though I just started, I like doing SS b/c i believe that it will take me to the finish line and I can increase/brag about my Squats/Deadlifts/Bench.

so I may be wrong is saying this but fuk it, going to throw it out there...
SS is a program designed for beginners to start building a solid foundation for the 3 basic compound lifts. Eats lots and continue increasing the weight and get strong.
Splits are designed for sculpting the body, training specific body parts on different days to promote muscle growth and leave adequate time for recovery.
So are you not just doing the equivalent of taking pictures of apples and oranges and saying "Look guys, these are different fruits"?Tight lower back? Aching knees? Poor hip flexor mobility? Weak glutes?

Pretty much that's what I'm doing. But the reason I'm doing it because people are recommending SS to people who want to focus on muscle and not strength.
Of course 2 different types of training will produce 2 different types of results. Neither is better than the other.. what I mean by that is, with SS you will be strong, and with a split you will be aesthetic. It all depends on what you want to do.
