I feel like binging today...
...help me out here guys. I know this will be detrimental to my progress, but all I want to do is stuff my face until I go to bed tonight. Im the type of person who can't just eat a slice of cake, or a small bag of chips or two cookies... Im obsessing about junk right now... Need some motivation to stay on track.

Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live the world they're been given than to explore the power they have to change it...Impossible is not a fact...It's an opinion...Impossible is not declaration...It's a dare...Impossible is potential...Impossible is temporary...Impossible is nothing...

Thanks. It's just that I suffer from serious guilt issues whenever I go overboard. Even though I know it's not true, I keep thinking that I ruin weeks worth of work in one day. Just some sh!t I need to sort out I guess.

'Tis but a scratch
I destroyed a family size Papa Murphy's all meat deLITE pizza this weekend. It was amazing. Yeah one day of pigging out isn't going to kill you. Besides you need to take care of your mental health as well as your physical health. If a cheat day here and there helps you stick to it in the long run then there's nothing to feel guilty about.

I noticed extreme dieting leads to this. There is benefits of binging though, as i always come back to the gym feeling way stronger and having more stamina. Just the water bloat can be discouraging, but that usually goes away completely in 2-3 days. I usually come back looking better, after around 7 days of a binge to.
I give reps away, like it's the holidays ;)

One day of bad eating won't hurt you. Even two days won't...they'll definitely slow weight loss down a bit...but not undue what you've done in several months over in 1 to 2 days. I've ate like crap and drank alcohol for the past 4 weekends. Keep in mind, I lift weights 3x to 4x a week and do cardio 30 mins to 1 hour every day. Some days I do cardio for 3 to 5 hours. Not all super intense, but low to moderate cardio sessions just to keep my metabolism going (I play a lot of sports). My diet is crisp clean Sunday through Friday evening...but Friday night through Saturday night...the binging begins! Well...it's not really a binge per se, it's just I eat whatever junk food is in front of me, burgers, fries, pizza, etc...just until I'm full. I don't force feed it down even though I am full as heck. And I try not to drink non-diet sodas, I'll just drink water with my food. And then there's the beer fest...my friends always play card drinking games and that gets a little out of control...EVERY weekend i'd say.
My weight loss has slowed, if anything, I've gone from losing 1 to 2 lbs a week to maintaining my current weight or losing it .5 to 1 lbs a week. I'm a food lover too so I understand the cravings you have...it's best just to endulge yourself some days. Keeps you sane. Just keep up the workouts and know that for the majority of the time, if you are training and eating right, results will still show.

Usually when I want to pig out on junk it's because I'm hungry and forcing myself to not eat. just eat a couple cups of oats (filling ... only 600kcal), or eat a sandwich, or something. But make sure that's all you eat because you will feel like eating everything in sight. After about 20 mins your urge to eat will subside since you actually have some food in you...

As others have said, if you feel the one day can fulfill your desires of cupcakes and candy canes and sugar pops, then go ahead. You obviously put in the work in the gym/kitchen to know what you're doing. You'll feel that extra bloat for a day or 2, but it goes away, we all know that. Stay sane, don't drive yourself to OCD about it.
