Stann vs. Lombard
I got hard. I see Stann dropping Lombard in the second round. Lombard is a highlight reel when he fights middle-tier fighters, but look what happens when he fights somebody who can stand and bang just as good as him. Shlemenko took him to a decision. Stann is going to dominate Lombard. Can't wait.

Not a stann fan but I hope he knocks Lombard into the next time zone.

Because he comes off as the quintessential model citizen, and frankly those don't exist.

Yeah I don't think Lombard is going to risk standing with a guy with ko power in his UFC debut.

Lombard is one vicious little ****er. I just wonder if he'll get a title shot if he beats Stann because i'd like to see him fight vitor at some point.
Plus this will be on the UFC on Fox 4 card? lombard can either make it or break it here.

I have a feeling Hector is going to be a flop like how Jake Shields was when he entered the UFC.

I doubt that. Everyone knew Jake Shields was 1 dimensional. At least Lombard is well rounded and good everywhere (on paper at least). If he wins, at least we will have another challenger for Anderson Silva is Chael doesn't win. After Chael, Bisping is really the only new challenge left besides a rematch or two.

A buddy of mine trains with Stann from time to time (believe Brian introduced my buddy to Dan Henderson at the last event in Atl). Seems like a decent guy from what I've heard.

Hopefully Lombard turns out to be the real deal and we have a new contender at MW. But I'm still going to laugh my balls off if Stann lays him out and all the people crying for an instant title shot weep.

If you refer to a fighter who you've never met in real life as "my boy" as though their performance somehow reflects well on you for simply being a fan, you're a lame ass.

i have never been impressed with his stand up. But lombards technique leaves something to be desired as well.
I see this match taking place in the clinch a lot. Or at least the clinch be involved in the finish of the fight.
