Day Z is a persistent world FPS based on survival and tactical combat in a world overflowing with zombies. It's a mod of Arma II and requires both Arma II and the expansion Operation Arrowhead, which are also sold as a single item under the name Arma II: Combined Operations.




Now, I vote we figure out who will play with who and how we're gonna coordinate with each other. I don't have the game quite yet but I expect to have it today or tomorrow.

All questions are welcome, as I've been reading a bit on the forums, but let's try to keep this thread on the topic of how to best melt faces in-game.

Yes, the mod is brand new and still in Alpha. I say let's take advantage of that and begin building our empire now.

We'll need to have more tact than that. There is a humanity stat which will tell people how good/evil you are. Some of us will have to be "good" in order to further our plans.

The devs of Arma II were very devious in the ways they programmed the program to behave. Google it, brahs. This is one game you'll actually have to buy.

I was reading the boards and apparently a lot of groups are going around killing other groups on sight for their stuff. I'm sure there's some good groups we could join up with and stuff but how do we know if we approach one?

Also, it's a bit broken on this patch, but your skin changes depending on whether you are good/evil.
