    Results: Keto New Years Resolution: (before.After)

    I've posted most of my progress since i've going bb.com and I'm proud to say that i've accomplished so much in a rather short period of time. I started Keto as a New Years Resolution after the "freshman 15" hit me. I began looking into diets that I would be able to stick with. I did research on Keto and I've gone from a 34 waist to now a 30 waist, ~190lbs to now ~158lbs! I was ~22% bf when I began, now I'm at ~12%! Keto has changed my life; and I'm now still dieting, but in just a lower calorie diet with carbs.

    Start:
    I would eat my Keto diet following macros of 65F/5C/30P, and trying to stay below 1800 calories. Carb up every 7-10 days.

    My workouts began with usually 3-4 pickup games of basketball at my gym Lifetime Fitness. I would lift weights based on routine for roughly and hour, and finished with 40 minutes of cardio on the stair master, while trying to maintain heart rate around 130.

    I've still got another 2 weeks before my cruise and I'm sure more progress will be seen. Here are the pictures, tell me what you think!

    Awesome dude. Do you think you will be carb conscious and use low-carb dieting in the future, or will you simply stick to a calorie control approach?

    Thanks! I would personally stay closer to a low calorie approach. After being on Keto for nearly 3-4 months.. I missed eating cereal, bread, and all those good carbs. Once I had lost a good amount of weight, the calorie control was more fitting IMO.

    Lol, I know.... there is a wide array of goals on in this forum, despite it being on a website, at least in name, devoted to body building.

    Its interesting how this forum has become one of the best sources of information on ketogenic dieting and thus attracts people (like me) that arent really into body building, but came for the info and community.

    i came off the keto protocol and follow more of an IIFYM approach. I still choose to keep carbs low because I feel like **** eating a lot of them. most of my carbs come from Ben and Jerry's at the end of the day of course i've already gotten protein, fat, micronutrient minimums.
