Makes sense because it seems one of the two will get screwed out of a title shot if they decide not to fight anyone else. This division is so top heavy they need to have a few fighters drop to 145 just to relieve the pressure up top, or they need to start making the title fight a San-Do match (3 person title fight).

apparently Dan committed one of the worst sins in MMA earlier this year when he didn't take the fight with littleNog. Dan may not be high on Dana's list right now.

I think the size/cardio difference would help Bendo win this one... Aldo is a great fighter but Bendo is a 170lber fighting at 155.

I agree with the size advantage but then again aldo is a beast standing or on the ground. I would love to see the fight.

I may be wrong, but I believe Benson has the advantage on the ground, it will be a war standing. I remember when Aldo fought Hominick, Aldo didn't do much on his back. If that same scenario happens and Aldo is gassed against Henderson, hes going to lose.

How did he do against Florian for 5 rounds? I forgot but for the Hominick fight he really struggled cutting that weight thats why he got dominated on the ground. Im not sure if he was sick then or not but im sure his grappling would be the complete opposite if hes in shape.

I think Benson's ground game is better than Kenny's, If kenny didn't have to get a backeotomy I wouldn't mind seeing them fight.

This rich is so pointless to me. Im very rarely not interested in a fight, but im so tired of rematches. Now frankie gets a rematch because maynard got one?? That fight went to a draw so there almost had to be a rematch.
you wanna know how i did it, this is how, i never saved anything for the swim back.

I felt the same way I didn't think this deserved a rematch and neither did D/W, he wanted Frankie to join the 145lb division, which he will after this next loss.
I think there would be more of a draw to a title fight involving Diaz or Pettis.

To be honest, I think Bendo's ground game is a bit overrated.
I think Diaz vs Pettis will be similar to the cerrone fight. Diaz would dominate on the ground or standing. I would however like to see Cerrone fight Pettis, that would guarantee fireworks.

Dank auto correct lol...
Yeah diaz, pettis, or miller would be good and diaz vs miller is just around the corner.

Henderson's ground game is good, not Diaz,Palhares,Maia, good. Bendo's ground game does scare the hell out of Edgar during their last fight. Every time Edgar had a dominate position Henderson went for a kimura and Edgar would give up on his position.
I meant Diaz or Pettis Vs. Henderson as compared to Edgar Vs. Henderson2.
I think Pettis and Diaz would be a fun fight, but Cerrone Vs. Pettis would be a better fight to see.

Other than Diaz is there anyone fighting currently in 155 that has better BJJ than Benson?

I really want to see Pettis vs Barboza.

I think Edgar is gonna get the belt back. All he has to do is figure out a counter for the kick. He has all the other areas covered against him.

Im thinking Aoki.
Also, if Pettis wants to get the belt, he might as well drop down to FW. I think Diaz and the wrestlers will make it very hard for him.

Just the kick counter is all he has to fix, aye?
At the end of the fight benson barely had a mark on him and Frankie was pretty busted up from eating a lot more than an up kick.

I think Aoki should stick to BJJ competitions and drop MMA, sadly the money isn't there for him to do it. Aoki needs to travel to Thailand, or go to Bas Rutten's gym and train nothing but standup because he's so one dimensional.

Well it seems that Frankie went into the fight thinking that the opponent was going to box him. Like all others. Well it threw Frankie way off when he kept getting kicked repeatedly. This time maybe Frankie can work on getting his own kicks better to counter or go for take downs after Bendo kicks. I am seriously not bullshting you. Look at Penn and Gray. They both went in trying to outbox Frankie and that was not gonna happen, never. Bendo went in looking to take his legs off him and it worked.
