    Exclamation ideal angle for incline bench

    I was wondering what I sould set the angle to on a bench for an ideal incline barbell/dumbbell press.

    Dont want to work the shoulders too hard and I wanna target dem upper titties. (no homo)
    Thoughts?

    15-30 is the best for the "upper chest".

    45 is quite anterior deltoid dominant. I still bench on the 45degree one, but my arch makes it somewhere between 15-30 degrees,.

    Thanks for the replies lads. Also, should I be concerned with closer/wider grips for slightly different parts of the chest/tris?
    Ive heard some gabbering about this but im not sure if there's alot of truth to it. cheers

    Wider is more chest dominant, while closer is more tricep dominant. Most people do somewhere in between.

    Personally I do wide and my chest gets pounded, on the downside, my lockout strength has been letting me down as of late.

    The lowest you can get preferably. 10-15 is probably best, I wouldn't go over 30 or it becomes a delt movement.
