    Protein won't get you fat. Consume more calories than you burn and you'll get fat. You can, in theory, consume 0 protein and as long as you're in a surplus of calories, you'd gain fat.

    Yes. If your BMR was 2.4k, you could consume 2 scoops of those and remain at the same weight. But you would only be able to consume 2 scoops, nothing more.
    Also, protein is different from mass gainer.

    8k calories would have you gaining anywhere from .5-1.5 pounds a DAY. That's 25-30 pounds A MONTH.

    a couple years ago I was taking 2 2500cal mass gainer shakes a day just for the hell of it, i had never been fat and i wanted to see what it was like


    I went from 183lbs to 193lbs and it took a couple months... It totally depends on your metabolism if you have freak genetics like me you wont gain that much

    Weight.tomorrow = Weight.today + (calories.consumed.today - calories.burned.today) / 3500

    Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.

    um...well you won't be building any muscle doing this. To gain weight all you have to do is eat enough in the day to put you at a caloric excess over your maintenance. I.e. if your daily caloric intake requird to keep you at the weight you are at is say 2000 cals, then you want to be eating anywhere form 2200 - 3000 and upwards cals per day, depending on training and how hard of a gainer you are. It's that simple. Protein/weight gainer may help but only because you're getting calories from it......it's not a magic drink that magically makes you put weight on. Eat 20 big mac and you'll gain weight in exactly the same way.

    . If fat is your goal i recommend you eat a balanced diet of cake, soda, MacDonald, and supplement with sugar water.


    If you wanna gain muscle mass on the other hand go with carbs. Dont get fat, if you do you will waste all your time trying to lose the weight later in life. There is no benefit to being fat besides being able to sit on somone with more pressure.

    If i drink protein without working out, can i gain weight?

    Yes, if there is a calorie surplus.

    You will get fat.

    It is easy to gain 20, 40, 80, 160, or even 320lbs of fat. Just overeat and don't train at all, and keep it up for years.

    To gain a lot of muscular weight, you'll have to get MUCH stronger for reps for big exercises, while eating enough to keep the gains coming as long as possible:

    Think in terms of adding a plate(+90lbs) to squat and dead, and then another, and then......over the next few months and years. And getting proportional increases in bench, press, row, curl.

    This post has your answer. For every lbs of bodyfat you wish to gain, you need to consume a surplus of 3500 calories. In a year you can gain 104 lbs of fat this way. Considering that a gallon of bodyfat weighs around 7 lbs, this would effectively add over 14 full gains of lard to your body.

    Apply the same formula. 3500x20=70,000 calories. If you, over time, consume 70,000 less calories than you consume, at the end of said time period you will have lost 20 lbs. Math... making sense of the world since Ancient Greece.

    What I eat almost daily.

    Breakfast;

    Bowl of shredded mini wheats (2 cups)
    1 greek style yogurt with olive oil mixed into it

    Sup Meal:
    One scoup of whey isolate mixed with 16 oz of milk, post workout.
    I use the GNC brand. It has really low carbs almost no sugar and like 50 cals.

    Snack: Hand full of almonds, and a granola bar with nutella spread on it, another greek yogurt

    Lunch: Usually a sandwich, turkey meat, no mayo, avacado and a cup of milk on the side with olive oil mixed into it and an apple

    Dinner: Steak, baked sweet potato, blueberry muffin, slice of cheese cake/brownies

    Sup meal: another protein shake before bed

    Has been working for me. I float around 205-211
