We all have our own different problems, but there is one thing that cheers everyone up, an act of kindness. You may be having the worst day of your life, but then something a stranger does helps turn that day around. Or you may be having a great day and this act of kindness just adds to it. Life is hard enough already, more time should be spent uplifting people rather than ignoring them or worse putting them down.
No act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted.
It is not only for what we do that we are held responsible, but also for what we do not do.
I challenge you guys to do a good deed as often as you can. The magnitude of the gesture doesn't matter, just that you made an attempt to brighten someones day. This act can be on here or in the real world. Whenever you do something post it in this thread. I will be randomly repping people who post in this topic. While I'm not going to ask for proof, I do expect everyone to be honest. I'm smart enough to figure out what is made up, so don't even bother.

I wish everyone would stop hating and just be nice. Going to forums online just makes me smh. It's all about hate and trolling and ****. I don't understand how people never get tired of being a dick.

Good idea OP. Will edit with something recent.
Edit: I'm trying to find the image but no luck. A few weeks ago, a bunch of friends printed out these cards that said something like "Thanks for being awesome! Please hand this to someone who you feel has been awesome today" and gave them to random people around our daily goings. 100% people smile when you do this and it literally takes no effort.Last edited by LethalThrusts; 04-24-2012 at 09:12 PM.

Some guy came into my work (ice cream shop) and told me he left his phone there. I looked at the spot we normally place lost items, and found an iphone and gave it to him. He gave me 10 dollars, which I then gave to the kid who worked before me (cause he was the one who found the phone). He hardly didn't even thank me. I might as well have kept the 10 bucks..

There was a guy standing on the side of the road holding a sign that said something like ''Dont have a job, my family needs help''. People were stopping and giving him money. I stopped and asked him if he had been looking for a job, as im not going to give someone money that doesnt try to work for it themselves and was probably the one who put their self in that predicament. He said yes but he couldnt find one and didnt know anyone from this town. I gave him a number to a friend of mine who has a roofing business and needs people to work for him. He will probably get hired.
Felt pretty good, hopefully this guy isnt just to lazy to have a job and on welfare just looking for some extra money to buy some crackChew Crew

Not asking for reps but felt really good about myself when this happened earlier
Was at walgreens buying a newspaper for my gov. class. Elderly woman is in line in front of me, asks cashier for 2 of those big packs of water bottles. Cashier asks if she can bring it over but old lady says her hands are too frail and she's too weak to carry it. Cashier asks how the lady even plans to bring the packs to her car if she can't bring it to the cashier stand. I step in, offer to help. Ended up carrying the two packs of water bottles to her car as well.
