news flash OP, you aren't that ****ing smart! get off your ****ing high horse and stop taking so much pride in the FEW things you deem to be your best qualities. If you were so smart you'd understand that the other people you claim to be so stupid, actually have a better understanding of the social world than you do, what does that say? they're just talking at the lowest common denominator so they can learn about the person, no one without a great rapport has deep intellectual conversations. You need to drop your ****ing ego. I am being very harsh while writing this because you need to wake the **** up, your ego is what's holding you back. You've built up this self image of yourself that's "perfect" and "elite" and now you can't be vulnerable because it would damage that ego, and when your identity is invested in that ego you'll do everything to ensure its safety.

you're meant to express...yourself. As blunt as that sounds, if you feel crap or alone or bitter, then that comes across in any social situation and it'll hinder your ability to even figure out wtf is going on. Make yourself happy about who you are

To hell you don't care about socializing bs OP. Why do you spend so much damn time with all of these threads then. Your post is simply an example of cognitive dissonance; look it up if you don't know what it is.
A classical illustration of cognitive dissonance is expressed in the fable The Fox and the Grapes by Aesop (ca. 620–564 BCE). In the story, a fox sees some high-hanging grapes and wishes to eat them. When the fox is unable to think of a way to reach them, he decides that the grapes are probably not worth eating, with the justification the grapes probably are not ripe or that they are sour (hence "sour grapes"). This example follows a pattern: one desires something, finds it unattainable, and reduces one's dissonance by criticizing it. Jon Elster calls this pattern "adaptive preference formation".

You've got to be flexible in your approach. Not many people enjoy my main interests but I try and keep up with a lot of other sports as to have something to talk about. I think also people mimic you a lot. Like today in Uni I was talking to some girl and stuff we were talking about wasn't even funny but because I was smiling as I said it she smiled too. Now her brain might subconsiously think I am fun to talk too. It wasn't a consceince effort for me to smile while talking as I can't fake it. It was only afterwards when I realised what was going on.

How the eff did you get thru highschool without even a single friend? Even the nerds had their own clique and there doesn't appear to be anything seriously wrong with you.
What do you do to support yourself? I hope you don't still live with your rents?

I just went into complete anti social mode, i was really awkward, nobody really liked me and i was bullied a lot. I never even tried to make friends in HS because i was so awkward i enjoyed my alone time thinking things would eventually work themselves out. I work but i still live with my parents i don't see myself moving out any time soon

The OP has made thousands of threads here bringing himself down. The users here on this subsection have tried every possible way to help him and give him advice (being honest, being kind, using brute force, etc.) Nothing seems to stick in this guys head.

They bullied you because you distanced yourself from them. It didn't make you seem like a lone wolf, it made you seem like an arrogant man with a superiority complex, like they aren't good enough for you to talk to or hang out with. People don't like people they don't know. People don't like people that don't open up and talk.

Thats assuming anyone that likes to socialize only talks about boosting their egos, getting drunk, and nonsense. Drop the superiority complex bro. The fact that you think socializing is pointless in life proves how far behind you actually are. How are you going to develop meaningful relations with people when you don't talk to them. Sure there are a lot of douche bags out there but if you had experience in a social situations, you would know that its not too hard to spot who is and who isn't worth your time.
