Thanks you all. Last night I was so tired I can't believe that I was able to put a coherent sentence together. I have been training a replacement this week and with the work overload from my co-worker who had a stroke not being there and taking the time to explain everything in detail to the new guy it has been a long and tiring week for sure. I still feel like a slacker for not getting a session in though, but hopefully I won't lose what little I have worked so hard for before I get a new schedule and routine worked out.

Sounds like you are having a rough go of it. I wouldn't worry about missing a week, might even help you. Besides it is hard to have productive workouts when you are so stressed and just dogged out. Eat good and get as much rest as you can to recharge for next week.

Thanks fn257. I plan to get some much needed rest over the weekend and hopefully get back on track next week. At least with all the work I have had on me this week I haven't been hungry and have kept the food intake low. Hope to hit 158 by sunday morning. I weighed 159.4 this am.

No lifting today. Tomorrow I will get back on the program, with both the diet and the weights. I weighed 157.6 this AM and was going to get a progress picture, but my wife was "busy" and doing it with the phone sucks by yourself. I will get one tomorrow, I have reached the 18 month mark on this journey so far. Had a little get together today to celebrate leaving the old job and starting the new one and my diet was off the charts! I may weigh 170 tomorrow . today's food

I can't believe that you've only being doing this for 18 months Eric .... you've come a huge way with your lifts way outstripping most of us and getting your diet nailed. In for the sub-10% pics now!

I took a crappy cellphone pic right out of bed this morning at 159.2, almost a 2 pound gain from yesterday . I may pick up a new camera today while I am out, the phone is hard to use for me and can't get a decent picture for nothing with it. I will post some better pics then. hopefully I can drop the excess poundage in a day or two from yesterday's little party binge. I plan to work my chest and triceps this afternoon, the shoulder is still somewhat stiff but not really having any pain in it. I will do alot of warm-up work for sure and keep it moderately light with the weight.

Taking pictures by yourself like that never seem to come out well, at least not for me. You have done a great job of getting lean but I am still of the opinion that you should now focus on a lean build and adding more size to your frame. Bigger chest, shoulders and arms will help make your waist look smaller than if you lose a few more pounds now. Keep up the good work!

I'd agree here with both the pics by yourself (in the mirror I look OK but when I snap a pic I'm like who is that guy?) and adding some size to your frame. You have done a great job at getting lean and have the perfect frame in which to build now.

Thanks Vanguard. The plan is to try and maintain here for a few months duringthe summer and then up the calories for a lean bulk over the fall and winter. I am going to up the calories slightly over the next few weeks to get to a maintenance level and start working hard as I can to add some muscle.

Todays food I also picked up a new camera today and snapped a couple of progress pics with it. I haven't figured out how to use it very well yet, so they aren't the greatest pics.

Chest & Bi workout yesterday looked real good Eric, especially the Oly curls. Good definition and vascularity in your upper arms in the latest pic. Perhaps I've missed, but do you do shoulder stretching exercises in your warm-ups? Asking, cause they're the only thing that seems to help me make it thru upper body days.

Thank you sir. I warmed up with lots of arm cicrles and cuban presses yesterday, along with some stretching. I usually don't log those exercises though.

Today was deadlift day and here it is.

    345x6
    365x4
    365x4
    365x4
    365x3

That was it for today, all sets were raw no belt or straps. I am worn out this evening and my strength is in the crapper. It was my first day at the new employer and although it was a fun day it was tiring to say the least. My actual job doesn't start for another week, but we are building new offices/break room/conference rooms until then. I layed carpet for the first half of the day and hung sheetrock the latter half. Tomorrow will be trim and paint. This is the first public job I have had since I was a teenager and will be a learning experience for sure. My right knee is killing me from using the knee kicker on the carpet and all of the deadlift sets felt alot heavier than usual today. Diet was good today and I will slowly raise my calories over the next month or so to hopefull 2500 or so and keep the same weight (158/160) over the summer. Today's food

Thank you, but don't be so sure my brother. At least, I'd never rule it out for you. When I first re-entered the dungeon, I couldn't squat or DL two plates. And don't even get me started on how miserable my bench was (not that it is stellar now). I did see myself one day being where I'm at, but, in the interim, had to just keep my head down, nose to the grindstone and banging, sweating, bleeding. I momentarily looked up and here I was. Now, back down goes the head. I'll look up again. Someday. Then repeat. Such is the cycle. I can see the same for you too brother.

Decent lifts after doing all that work! I use to do some carpet installing and I got out of it due to the kicking that is required. I did not want to destroy my knees and I knew if I kept doing it that would happen so I know the pain you are feeling.

Thanks! I plan to stay with it and gain as much size and strength as I can. No matter where that ends up it will be much better than here I started, and hopefully I will live a fuller longer life as a result of it.

If your strength was in the cr@pper on deadlift day, where's mine
I'm doing my deads tomorrow and I'll be delighted to get 365 as a single. You got it for 15 reps

You're doing great work at the moment by fitting in those short workouts --- it must be a busy time. Good luck with the new job Eric!
