    VPX Zero Impact Protein Bars...

I recently purchased a box at a GNC. I unwrapped one and noticed a white "dusting" of something in a couple areas of the bar. I don't know what this is, but for all I know it could be mold. Decided not to eat them. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Never seen a GNC carry them, will check around my area again cause I love these bars. And to answer your question, Yes at one time they did have a mold issue but haven't heard any issue since they changed the formula a little. Check the date on the bars/box and return them.

This happened to me last summer before they reformulated them. Before finding out that the white dots were in fact mold i ate a few (which they tasted aweful but i didnt want them to go to waste). Contact GNC or a VPX rep and have them send u a replacement. IMO the reformulated bars taste better, and German Chocolate is the best (hint for a Ger/Cho protein for reps looking)

I had the same problem, got in touch with VPX and they took care of me. E-mailed them with pics of the bar as well.

Look under your chair. YOU GET A REP, AND YOU GET A REP, REPS FOR EVERYONE! If I get a rep, you get a rep, every time. Give me a link to make my life a little easier.

If you don't give me a link and you didn't post in the thread you rep'd me in, I'm not gonna go searching for you. I'll get everyone on recharge.

I had the same incident with the older Version of the VPX bars. They tasted funky and had white moldy spots on them. I ordered from BB.com. I talked to the Customer service rep and they replaced them for me with the newer ones. The newer ones taste soo much better and are moist and chewy. The older ones were soft and really dry. You would have drink something with the older version.
