I thought I'd try something new to help me with my caloric intake and results so I went to GNC and copped some ON Whey and Mass gainer Complex. As the day progressed I tried to get as much research on Mass gainers and it seems that people put it on a list of pretty useless/unnecessary supplements you can buy. Some even say its the worst thing you can take especially for bed because of the sugars and how bloated you can get but the gainer I got has the following nutrition facts label
Serving size (182G)
Servings per container (6)
Calories - 700
Calories from fat 40
Total fat 4.5g
Sat fat 2.5g
0 Trans fat
Cholesterol 105mg
Sodium 270mg
Potassium 1000mg
Carbohydrate 115g
Dietary Fiber 5g
Sugars 6g
Protein 50g
So As you can see the sugar and fat on this is pretty low but I'd like to get your advice. Should I just return this and get my money back?

There's nothing wrong with using gainers. I used Animal Mass for a while when I was wanting to put on weight. I have a busy schedule with work, and gainers are quite convenient. I added in extra goodies with the mass gainer tho, I would throw in some peanut butter, milk, and a banana.
As long as you're lifting correctly and the rest of your diet is in check, it's not going to make you magically fat and pre diabetic.

Mass gainers are just protein shakes with higher fats and carbs so you can get more calories in during the day. They are what they are which is a convenient way to get in higher calories during the day. Some people like them, some don't. I prefer making my own mass gainers if I every need a high calorie meal fast because I find blending more whole foods to be more optimal for getting in the micronutrients you don't get from shakes. You can control the macros, taste, and consistency if you make your own mass gainer. Odds are you'll end up bloated regardless of which approach you take since it's a high calorie meal you're drinking down.
Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!

Exactly right. No reason at all to return it at this point. Just use it and fit the macro's into your diet.
I used gainers for YEARS. Long before "fit it in your macro's" and long before the common answer was "make your own". The convenience was always great for me and so was the flavoring and the simple calories it was in a short amount of time.

You already bought it, if you were going to make your own anyway just keep it. It's not like there's anything wrong with using a commercial gainer to get the extra calories in. It's cheaper to make your own, and if you want to do that after using this one up, by all means do so, but use what you have, it's certainly not the worst thing you can take, not by a long shot. Macros are macros, and if the macros in what you'd be making on your own are the same as what's in the gainer, then it'll all get processed by your body similarly.

I would just use it OP. Making your own gainer nets you no real monetary or time savings.
