I did a split routine for years and didn't really see any massive gains (also a lot of cardio through rugby though) then I stumbled on strong lifts 5x5 and saw massive gains in strength and some bulk but no real definition. So I went back to a split with more compounds but my body was not really responding that well to only working legs once a week etc and I lost strength. So recently I went back and looked at what worked for me and I decided on a full body routine with a couple changes. Been 3 weeks and my arms/legs look the best they ever have. The thing is I think the key is finding what works best for YOU and YOUR GOALS. Anyway my routine if anyone is interested.
Monday/Friday
Leg press 3x10
Shoulder press 3x10
Rows 3x10
Flys 3x10
Curls 3x10
Tricep extensions 3x10
Wednesday
Squats 5x5
Bench 5x5
Deadlifts 5x5
Superset chins/dips to failure x3deadlifting = 140kg (308lbs)

Why was this old thread bumped D:
~Jesus Christ Is My Savior Crew~
The land at the end of our toes goes on and on,
The sand at the core of our bones continues on
Hey I just met you. And this is crazy. But today is chest day. So spot me maybe?
Art thou prone to such insurmountable force upon thou biceps?
