1st Physique Comp coming up in July

Hello, my name is Joshua and like the title says, my first competition is coming up in July. Training and dieting official starts next week, which I will fully be home for good from my afghanistan deployment. I'm also halfway into the I AM JUGGERNAUT Challenge too. But I just was motivated to finally push for something and that is to compete, and chose the physique category. I'm new to it all, and would like advice or even a mentor to help me along the way. I've made transformations in life and I'm ready to just go to another level.

Awesome, good luck bro. Any train, diet, or comp prep advice you can pass down to me? I start official training/dieting next week when I get home from wrapping up this deployment stuff.

The key is consistency. Not straying from your diet, working your tail off every time you hit the gym, etc. I think thats the biggest reason people fail, they aren't consistent with their effort.

Congratulations on coming home, thats gotta be exciting dude. I can't say how much I appreciate the military and all those that serve in it.

Cool, thx. I've stay consistent while deployed with training and working out, all I gotta do is up it and become strict like a nazi and I know I will do well.

Yea its really exciting being this close, I just hope I can adjust back into civilian life.

Good luck buddy, just remember to touch up on those calves, even though phisique guys wear board shorts, judges still look at calf development. Also, don't come out too hard or too vascular, and dOn't tense up too much on stage, flex your core and abs and let everything else be comfortably present, they don't want to see a guy on stage that's flexing so hard he looks like he's about to crap himself.

All the best to ya broham!
    Sincerely,
