In at 227.4 lbs this morning! Had one of my best months yet pound wise. I eat 1700 to 1900 calories a day and I make sure I get 170-200 grams of protein.

F***ing ridiculous. 183 for the second week following four total weeks of ridiculously slowed fat loss, upped my calories from 1400 to 1550 on average, even on third day of IF.
I'm 19 ffs I shouldn't be plateauing on 1500 calories... I should be plateauing on 2400.Last edited by moore93; 06-26-2012 at 09:18 AM.

I vacationed in Rehoboth Beach, DE last weekend. Dogfish Head Brewery has a restaurant there and, being the craft brewhead I am, I ate there twice. I drank many beers, including one of the extremely rare 120 minute IPAs. Apparently the Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA is one of the most caloric beers in existence: 450 calories per 12 ounces. That, in addition to the titanic amount of pub food, boardwalk food, and junk food I had this weekend means I'm insanely fortunate to only be up 1 pound.
I fasted two 24 hour periods over the four day weekend. Fasting. Rules.Fat and weak, but getting better.
1RMs as of 6/06/2012:
Squat: 320
Bench Press: 215
Deadlift: 350
Overhead Press: 120
Weighted Chin: +50

Crazy awesome!
Boo on my 132.5 this morning. I know I'm retaining water--probably from the dim sum yesterday. And my eyes are puffy like crazy from yesterday's paddle. SO much ocean water in my face as we hit some swells. I'll be doing a HIIT-type workout at the local, private HS track in a couple of hours. Time to start training for the long-distance season.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

Thanks a lot, you two. My grandfather passed away; 93 years old and was just an incredible human being. I aspire to be half the man that he was, and now I have to live up to him and get to 93 myself! Roughly another 70 years of posting on BB forums I guess? Hahah.
Weigh in was 160.7 lbs. Seriously harder than I thought to get these last 5 lbs.

Thanks dude.
Thanks!!! I kind of want to make a fox now that is skulking along.
I think with each weekly post in these threads i will try to post a picture of somthing that i have been working on. (as a way to keeps me from getting lazy with my woodcarving lol)
Thanks!
Dude! hahaha i got similar thing going on. In the time frame of november 2010-dec 2012 without working out or watching what i ate i managed to put an inch on my forearms. Everyone i have seen use a chainsaw pretty regularly has beefy forearms. My grip strength is super good too.
I'm lucky i don't have to use my big saw all the time. maybe once or twice a week tops. my big saw is a ms 660 with a 36" bar. Its super light compared to the older saws though. Then for the smaller work/detailing i am spoiled and have a couple of ms 192s that have easy start and only weigh 6 pounds haha.
What can be a pain for me ( but a good workout) is getting logs from people. I get logs from people who had them cut down in like their yard so i pay for it or trade some carving and then i haul the tree out of their property. Right now i have 8 western red cedar stumps to get that are 6-8' long and about 35" in diameter. And i got a young redwood tree to get, only 4ft in diameter at the base hahaha. Then i am trading a guy a carving for a handful of oldgrowth cedar logs that were buried in his yard that have been preserved.

220.6 lbs.
After months and months of not drinking, I've kinda of fallen off the wagon this month. Yes, I'm still losing weight, but I don't feel as healthy as I did in June. I've been socializing a lot more with friends after being on lockdown from february-june in order to focus on my weight loss. I need to find a happy medium btw not being too isolated and drinking heavily on weekends when going out to bars/karaoke.*Weight on Nov 1, 2013: 292 lbs*

150g chicken breast, mixed veggies, 1/4 pot of cottage cheese, 1 tspn olive oil, coleslaw, works out at about 480 calories, 42 protein.
MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE THE COTTAGE CHEESE, it really fills you up.
I sometimes stick half a sachet of cous cous in there as well, again, that makes it really filling, with only an extra 165 calories and 5 protein.
I also make these brownies when I'm on a cut or a bulk, they're a good treat, quite filling- http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...brownie+thewix1k+

Want to know how I know you're on the west coast? LOL!
I scored some apple & cherry wood last summer. My dad's been using it in his smoker.
I've burned some. it smells nice. you are probably cringing now. LOL!
For the longest time we used my dad's old McCulloch with an 18" blade (heavy as hell) & a small poulan with a 16" for trim work.
Then he bought a plastic Husqvarna rancher. Thing is feather light & a joy to use.
But since he's 70 i'm still using the McCulloch. Arms are always burning after a few hrs of cutting & my grip is pretty much shot.

chudude grandfathers are a special breed for sure. I miss mine greatly and am so happy I got to spend so much time with him. Hope you find a lot of peace in your memories of him. And 70 years of posting? I hope you'll rep me then (although come to think of it, I'll probably be long gone LOL).
Not from, but I had the good fortune of visiting MS, Georgia, and New Orleans (I did look at Alabama across the boarder). My first thoughts when I stepped off the airplane onto the tarmac was, "oh, so this is what the writers mean when they say, 'you could cut the air with a knife.'" It's pretty country, but the humidity is CRAZY. Here's to sipping sweet tea and staying cool. <raises glass>
I did make it to the HS track. It was a nice workout with my younger trainer-friend: Stadium running (just over 4 minutes), 25 dips, 10 push ups, and 1 minute each (with 30 second rest) squats, jump rope, planks, burpees, crunches. Rinse, repeat x3. Then we went dancing until midnight. Fun times for the old broad.Kristin "Never mind your failures today...get back on that horse and RIDE!"

Workout was much like the one a few days ago except I was on my feet more, it was 45 mins instead of 15, and I also threw in a more dignified version of this, mins :25 and :55:
Cardioing like idgaf. I will not lose ground!
Edit: Almost forgot. 125.5 lbs post cardio.

I lived in NC for 5 years, and FL and CA over a period of months, but I'm up north now.
chudude, that's a big responsibility, but you're equal to the task. I was hunting for something for you but I still haven't found it. I'll pm it to you if/when I do.Last edited by caprica6; 06-28-2012 at 10:03 AM.
