    Do Barbell Curls and Incline Dumbbell Curls work the same muscle?

    I'm only new to working out and was wondering if these 2 exercises are pointless to do in the same workout? Do they train different parts of the bicep muscle or are they around equal?

    both are bicep exercises so yeah, also not pointless to do in the same workout .. you could change grip on the bar to bring your forearms into it more or bring in a closer grip and really squeeze at contraction to rip them up. Get a nice pump off it too.
