My dog is always on a leash if it is not in the fenced in back yard. However, it is a 15 feet leash I hook up to the garage so it has some range it can go.... it ran after a squirrel and cat and both times was snapped back by the leash. It would probably run out at an aggressive person, too... wonder if a cop would shoot it or just take a few steps back out of its reach? Hopefully I will never have to find out.

-wife wakes up and sees men outside dressed in black with guns
-freaks out and yells for husband
-husband grabs his rifle, goes downstairs and positions himself in front of the door
-SWAT breaks in through door, sees man with gun....well I think you can figure out what happens next

Bro if you really are a cop, you need to defend the police department. I am probably the only miscer who defends cops no matter what and gets banned. You dont have a strong presence on the misc, you need to atleast take part in threads where people are bashing cops for no apparent reason. ya dig? horse face

No you're actually 100% correct about it. I've been saying the exact same thing for about 2 years now. The last two bills congress passed are a complete slap in the face to the American people and a huge step for the Fascist oligarchy.
They just destroyed the bill of rights, now it's legal for them to indefinitely detain and torture any U.S. citizen they want. All they have to do is accuse them of being a suspect of terrorism. Why the public is putting up with this I don't even...
Then they passed another bill making it illegal to protest in most places! It's a felony now."Truth is treason in an empire of lies" - Ron Paul

Yeah? Human emotion and adrenaline reactions are different for everyone. When you see someones family member or best friend get killed everyone reacts differently to that situation. The whole fight or flight response kicks in.
I bet a handful a people would snap and go on a fight to the death if a close member of the family (such as a dog) was killed by someone else, regardless if the person that killed the family had a weapon or not.STEAM: rangetsu1 | SC: jonnyboiiir | IG: jonnyreyes12

If you are a cop, dont properly identify yourself like many dont, and you walk onto some peoples property or if they feel threatened you could easily be shot.
The castle law is a great equalizer.
I am in no way shape or form condoning wild west clean up or murder, but you know damn well you wouldnt go run on to an insane country boy's property in Mississippi without properly identifying yourself lol.

Ok, SWAT gets involved when the police department is 100% that the guy could be hostile and is carrying weapons. The police dept goes through his record, sees if there is any criminal activity, and makes a decision whether sending cops with pistols is safe for them or for the community. Usually, SWATS show up on your door when you have an arrest warrant and you have a really bad criminal record and you could most likely be putting their lives in danger. There is no way, a SWAT team would accidentally go to a wrong house. There is a ****load of planning done before the SWATS are called in.

A cop shouldnt apologize, He is representing a police department, if the department feels the actions were wrong, then it issues an apology letter to the media or whatever. Also, the cop was asked to go to that house, he didnt randomly show up at the house to kill the dog. The dog was barking and tried to charge at him, if he gets distracted, he could possibly be dead by the the other guy.

What the hell are you talking about?
When the police are called to investigate a "domestic disturbance" they are not going there to automatically make an arrest. They are going there to investigate the complaint and could possibly make an arrest based on that investigation.
You don't draw your weapon immediately for no good reason.
Do you see police approaching cars during simple traffic stops with their guns drawn and pointed at the driver?
Police are trained to always be attempting to defuse a situation, not escalate it as I said.
Your posts is stupid.

This is awful, but unfortunately it's not an isolated incident either.
A quick youtube search of "dog shot by police" gets over 4,000 videos.
Police shoot dog in front of family during traffic stop
Policeman shoots dog already leashed and restrained
Policeman kills dog to show-off for brother-in-law
Police taze and shoot a 5lbs puppy
Too many dumb cops with guns.
