Description
APD officer drew his gun on me in my driveway when I came from my backyard to get something from my truck yesterday. He was responding to a domestic violence call and came to my address by mistake.

While I was at gunpoint my dog came from my backyard barking at the officer. I yelled for the officer to not shoot my dog, that he will not bite, but the officer immediately shot and killed my dog right in front of me.

I was unable to stop or restrain Cisco because I was being held at gunpoint.

Please like Cisco's page so that I can spread the word about this senseless tragedy and hopefully find justice for Cisco."

As was realized after this horrific event had transpired, THE COP WAS AT THE WRONG ADDRESS!!! An innocent man was traumatized by not only having a gun pulled on him by someone that is supposed to be there “to protect and to serve”, but his best friend of seven-and-a-half years was wrongly shot and killed. FOR WHAT?! Because Officer Griffin did not confirm where he was supposed to be before these events transpired!
Nothing will likely happen to Officer Griffin for any of this, as his supervisor arrived after everything took place, and she defended his actions. Mike was given the officers’ information, as well as a phone number to call, if desired. No apologies, no sympathy. Nothing. The officer even told Mike that Cisco should have been on a leash! IN HIS OWN YARD?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!

Yeah this really is bullsh!t. The cop didn't break into his house, but he was in the guys driveway with his gun drawn... and nothing was happening at this address. He did not even give the guy a chance to restrain the dog, which was most likely not going to bite the cop, and he just shot it dead. I know a couple of pretty cool cops, but this dude needs to answer for his actions.

It is unfortunate for the dog and owners but I can kind of understand why the officer would of shot him. The cop thought he was at a domestic dispute (wrong address) and a dog comes running and barking from the backyard. How does the cop know what the dog is capable of?

Not defending the cop but I would consider shooting if I had a dog charging at me that I did not know whilst attempting to arrest a violent offender.
