like when they think they've won an argument or pwned somebody.. they're so pleased with themselves.
Reality check. Great, you've won. That means you're a sack of meat that is only here to breed like bacteria. Are you happy?

The argument against theism can never be won if you're arguing with a true believer. We are destined to fight this battle until we die. Seeing as how I can't breed (forever alone) this life still has a purpose though. This life is to be an exciting experience which I may never experience again. I'm here to make the best out of it because it could all end when my turn has come to pass.

When I have this conversations with people that are older than me I put the kid gloves on and be nice because of the time difference and their lack of ability and reluctance to gain new knowledge is what's holding them back. People our age should know better, a simple Google search on an iphone will reveal enough information to squash the god delusion quick fast.

Everyone is just trying to help one another. Religious people want to share the warm fuzzy feeling they get with their beliefs. Athiests want to share the freedom they have found with their non-belief.
It's not worth arguing over because the chance of changing someones belief or non-belief is about 1 in 350 trillion.

those types of people don't have much else going for them. No matter what side they are on.
So "winning" a debate makes them feel good about themselves.Starting weight- May 14 2011- 184

"Life is but a game, And once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box. No matter our nobility, we all emulate the same end. So take no pride in it, for it is but an illusion, we will reach upon the point where we will be judged standing alongside those we have commanded. Whether or not we treated them fairly predicts our outcome."

It makes sense why atheists usually get stuck in their smarter than thou mode looking down at believers. What else are they gonna do. a lot of believers have seen the abyss that is being nothing but meat controlled by dna and they chose to walk with god rather than go through life as mere animals. Atheists never realize the full implications of atheism. the full implications could make a person vomit. Read some sociobiology and you'll know what I mean

No. Have you ever noticed how you think you are the main character in a story about you? that's your ego tricking you. The point of your whole anatomy including your thoughts is to get you to breed. A monkey sees the same point of view too "I MUST SURVIVE. I MUST EXIST"
If you take away the higher reference point of god, your ego becomes your god.

Life is meaningless... dealwithit. And try to have some fun before you die anytime.
I Think it's because church makes people feel bad. I used to feel bad in church all the time 'sins' forgiveness' bla bla bla... Now when I go (xmas, easter ect...) (to keep gramma happy before she dies) I feel bad for all the people that are there believing this krap. How the table has turned...
brb doing things religious people can only dream of (I'm sure that they would love to have moar fun, they just don't dare...)☆ ☆ QUEBEC CREW ☆ ☆

"Dr. Phil mode"
Have always thought that as religion is something most people are conditioned into that people who rebel against it somehow feel they've broken their chains and seen the light so it makes them superiour, combined with the fact that many religious stories seem more like fairytale than anything we see these days and it's quite easy to mock people for believing something that an atheist finds childish and silly.
While am an Atheist myself I realise that far more intelligent people than me believe in religion, maybe it's because it's part of their brains rules which lets them get through every day of their life, maybe it's because they take comfort in life after death, there are millions of reasons why. At the same time I also know I'm guilty of the exact same things people do when they consider religion but about other things in life, I have rulesets and opinions that I believe but others don't and while I try to base them on common sense I still fail sometimes.
Atheists who brag about not believing in God are just as annoying at those who push it down peoples throats.
