I used to think this. My first was a girl, but in reality they can be just as fun (they can play sports, play rough, etc). Plus you get to do cool things like take them to dinner for their 10th birthday (and other stupid girly stuff lol). My second kid is a boy, so I got it all covered.

As for OP's comment about sex vs having kids, I wouldn't trade them for the world, but I gotta have me some sex too.
