Anyone ever done these before?

If so, has it really helped tight hip flexors and allowed you to squat deeper?

thanks Dom, that's the vid.
I was reading on DeFranco's website that it was a really good way to open up your hips/glutes/hams before doing actual squats.
Was just curious if anyone had ever tried it here
I'm having trouble with just my own bodyweight lol, the new ROM is challenging to say the least.

This move doesn't look like it stretches the hip flexors, because it brings the hips into flexion.
Moves like lunges stretch the hip flexors in the rear leg though.
Tight glute/hams (hip extensors) prevent full hip flexion. Not sure where idea that tight hip flexors did came from. Do they tense up and impinge the top of the joint or something?
What do you mean by hips? Adductors?
