I used Jack3D for the first time this morning and it made me rude if anything, not focused. The only thing I was focused on was telling people to finish off their set and move on please! It does give me a boost, but I think it just made me mouthy!
Any help please?
thanks

LOL! I can relate! There is another one I've taken that skyrockets me into the homicidal category. Yuck.

LOL I like Jack3d as well! It actually has the opposite effect on me - it seems to put me in a good mood.
I don't know - maybe try it another time and if you still don't like it, I'd give up on it.Danielle xoxo

I use it all the time but I'm a caffine junkie to start with. Maybe your not use to the stims. You might want to consider cutting down the dose so you don't hurt anyone at the gym lol!

I only just started using this (after reading SO many great reviews) and I LOVE it! It puts me in a good mood, more focused, WAY more energy, definitely push harder and I actually seem to recover better?

I consume tons of coffee with no ill effects or change in mood. Preworkouts make me cranky and high strung, even a bit depressed. I don't know what it is, but I just think they do some peeps wrong.
You should see me behind the wheel of a car on this stuff. Everyone gets flipped off!
I agree to experiment with a smaller dose.

Meh, still puzzles me as to why so many people take products like this. Very few folks on here actually lift with the kind of intensity that a "booster" would make a difference anyway. But hey, not my money.

i know a ton of people who swear by them - pretty much anyone who takes them - but i just would never. i do take creatine, so i'm not anti-supps, i just never really understood the need or even believed they actually helped your lifts at all. if it affects focus, well, i'm plenty focused on my own. and i drink way too much caffeine that i def wouldn't wanna risk overdoing it any more (seriously need to cut down), and people say the non stim ones tend to be less effective, anyway, not my speed. food and caffeine give me all the energy i'm gonna get.
no judgment, just seems like a waste to me. but, again, so many are big believers in them, so there's likely something to it, probably esp if lacking good pre-w/o nutrition. just my opinion.
but for you, op, def try a smaller dose. if that doesn't help matters, stop taking it. there are certain things, like medications, that's worth the "wait and see" and "try to stick it out a bit longer approach," but a supp isn't in that category. and if you're dead-set on a pre-w/o, plenty of others to choose from.

Also, in spite of the negative emotional effects, preworkouts do work (for me) as far as intensity in the gym. Thing is, you (me) develop a tolerance to the stuff and so inevitably and eventually you (me) will have to find what's real and within yourself (myself). Some people cycle to avoid this. The bad just far outweighs the good for me.

Many people have intensity in the gym without pre-workouts, several of the heavy hitting women here don't take them at all. My other point is that really, is the average lifter here actually training to the level that they need additional stimulation beyond a mental kick in the pants? No. I find it ludicrous when chicks who have been lifting for 6 months and are benching 70 lbs tops take every supp known to man....its just silly and unnecessary.

totally. and they find necessary pre-workouts, intra-workoutds, pwo shake (whey, of course), recovery supp, casein at night, fat burner, ad nauseam. and that's their number one focus. their starting point. finding the "right" supps. not getting their diet in check and finding a good lifting prgm.
