Agreed with above posters, squats looked fine to me, hard yes, but not bad form. Pretty graceful fail on the first 205 attempt too, you know your way around a power rack, lots of people freak out bailing on squats.

i agree videos are fun. i like watching them to see technique and also see the grind. i love love grinder lifts. it makes me wanna cheer when they get them.
went to monjeau peak, as well as ski apache to see the fire damage for ourselves. it happend two summers ago now, and last summer most everything was still closed to public, but we got to go up there and it was kinda sad. as soon as i upload, i'll share some pics. there are still some really beautiful areas, but my favorite hike, the crest trail at monjeau peak is leveled. all blackened trees.
the house we were considering buying in villa madonna was destroyed. the guy who was selling was out there today building another strawbale house, so i guess he has decided to stay.
oh! and we saw a herd of wild horses just hanging out by the side of the road. we got a few shots of that, too. my toddler was thrilled.
running around with the kids was fun. and they got to throw lots of burnt sticks around and act like little hulks.
still trying to get the protein down. i'll figure it out. also, oatmeal in the AM was a terrible idea. maybe i should cut it to a 1/4 cup dry instead of 1/2.

Yay stretching! I tell ya, stretching is like that bowl of sprinkles at the desert bar, first you're like nahh not for me, nobody else is using that, but then you go ahead and put a generous serving of those little guys on your ice cream and you're like HNNNGGGGG this is 10x better, why have I not done this before?! I hope that makes sense, makes sense to me.

Your numbers are looking great. I know you are accustomed to paleo, so if you like the higher protein, go with it. Just be aware that you CAN go as low as 140 grams protein... but you don't HAVE to.
All we are doing is looking for a nice steady intake and see what the numbers are doing. You have a nice downward trend and you don't have to make any adjustments. I want you to follow this intake for two more weeks, and will have some options I would like to discuss with you at that time.

Amazing squat strength! Two plate... right around the corner.
most of the horse pics didnt come out well, but here is momma with baby. baby couldnt be more than a week old. in total there were ~15 horses in the herd. a few yearlings, lots of foals and one stallion who was eyeballing us. he didn't seem pissed, though.

80's. 225 felt heavy, but also good. it didnt hurt to put it on my back. i knew that if i tried to squat it, i would end up losing, but i love doing this walkout thing (thanks for the idea!) just to feel it for myself. i'm going to keep doing it.
also love LOVE the concentric GM's. i feel like it will help me out of the hole and also my deadlifts. i need to get heavier. i can feel 145 sticking, but then my core engages and it goes up. its nice feeling that.
