Hi geek! Nice videos - I don't have anything to add, everybody gave you good advice.
I'm a total book hoarder. I cried when I had to leave soo many books at my parents house (only took a dozen or so books with me when i moved to Texas )
not (very) serious on crying.

1st- Own your strength. It's about how we look = form, not how we look = aesthetics. I am as vain as anyone, but we cannot let it get in the way of staying focused when it's time to lift. No adjusting our clothes while laying on the bench...focus on getting some arch so we can stay on our traps and get those ribs high....mmmmK? We wanna see belly!
2nd-
Squat- as said, get your setup with a neutral head and keep it there.
Bench- good tuck and the elbows did not flare. Show us some heavy work!

Awesome squats as usual and yeah that's always good when your rows are better than bp. Bp will come along all in good time, just keep hammering away at it.
Current PRs:
Bench Press: 200x1
Deads: 315x1
Back Squats: 275x1

i think shirtless ham looks pretty good.
thank you for all of this guidance. i hope friday's benching is better. i set my bench back this week and still failed ughhhhhhh
the cell phone thing... ive tried to get a good angle for benching and it doesnt work in the space unless someone holds it at a weird angle.
hahaa! i would cry, too. it would be hard to pick and choose. sophie's choice. thanks for comin to see me.
i couldnt figure out the fixing clothes bit, but then i looked at the vid and it does look like that! i was just showing my husband what i wanted the camera to see, so you guys could see my arch. he doesnt know all that much about lifting.
i dont like the look of my bench and it is the reason why i havent shared. none of my lifts look good body wise, but thats bc i have body issues that need fixin. im glad i video'd it though and will continue to do so. ill show heavy (for me!) next.
yeah, its a necessity. its that or a super high bun on top of my head. yuck.
truth. and thanks!
i got on the scale this morning, feeling esp bloated and it was back to 249. still under 252, so actual weight has been lost. trying to hold onto that.
[QUOTE=geek23ka;1009763143]thanks everyone! this is a very quick drive by just to get my workout put down here. need to pick up the kiddo soon. thank you all so so much for your support!
thank you jj! madcow runs as long as you keep progressing. when you start failing more than not is when people tend to reset it. so i'm gonna keep going. lots of people crap out around week 10 or so. and that's when im failing, too.
i want that damned BMF!! i hope it comes today. so psyched about it now. i really want to know where i stand.
thank you for the faith in my lifts, eric i never twigged to the fact that you rowd so much more than your bench.
hammering is what its like, too. i really dislike benching. i do it only because i need a balanced workout. i dislike it bc i suck so much at it. i wish i were in love with it like deadlifting. thank you again for all of your help.
they are easier for me than situps and they make my muscles hurt in my abs more, too. my arms only go a few inches past my head when i do them, and im doing them on my knees so its not like im doing a perfect planking ab rollout or anything. its enough to make me sore, so im good with it for now!
today 30 minutes elliptical during babys nap.

the more i read about this stuff the more i understand. you're bodybuilding which frankly,i should be doing at this point, but i like training just for strength.
i believe fully that if you started just training for strength youd pass me up in a month. you have this full-tilt boogie way about you.
im trying vanessa! its so good to see you back here! i read youre training for the zombie run. that sounds like so much fun!!
Today
MADCOW Week 10 Deadlift Day
Squat - 75x5, 100x5, 125x5, 125x5
OHP - Barx5, 60x5, 75x5, 83x5
Deadlifts - 135x5, 170x5, 207x5, 245x4 (failed to lift the fifth rep more than an inch off the floor), 245x1
No accessory work today. I quit and went to pick up my kiddo. I should do it. It's ab work, I need to do ab rollouts 10x4
The deadlifts were a failure. Felt very very heavy. I am going to try the same weight again next week.
