I'd prefer working both arms at the same time but if the exercise is good I'll do one arm at a time. Just looking for experiences with the exercise. Thanks.

Try doing two-arm dumbbell kickbacks.

well if this is to workout at home then you can always do skull crushers with db's and use 3 different angles on the bench. decline, flat and incline, all 3 work and hit the tri's in different ways but they all really work very well. you can also do kickbacks, 2 handed overhead extensions. other than that i cant really think of anything else off the top of my head. but those that i just gave you are a good 3 to work with.
