Welcome !!
and speaking of food porn my latest addiction in life..
Low calorie and low carb coconut flour pizza crust.

This one has light alfrado sauce, chicken, spinach & cheese and the whole thing has 350 cals 15 g's fat 11 carbs and 40's protein.
The crust it self only has 64 cals 1 g fat 5 carbs and 6 protein. It's really easy to make.
Just mix 1 tablespoon of coconut flour, 1/4 cup allwhites and 1 tablespoon of buttermilk. It should come out like a batter. Pour it on to a pan with a piece pf parchment paper so it doesn' sick and spread in circle, I like mine thin so I spread it as thin as I can. Bake a 425 for a few minutes till it's just barely cooked all the way through. Take it out top it and bake agin till basically it's all heated and cooked through. It makes a great low cal & low carb pizza crust option.

[b]Alright people.. I actually have a sinus infection and chest cold. I have to train over the weekend because I'll be in camp and we have another team coming from out of town so ya know I can't just bail. I have taken the last two days and today so I'll have 3 days rest.
I'm using a series of natural methods to treat the sinus infection because I find they work better in the long run then the antibiotics.
1. Sinus flush twice a day.
2. Hot tub/ steam with peppermint oils to open up the sinus and stimulate the immune system.
3.White tea & a mixture of orange peel w/ lemon grass.
4. Supp extra c-e-zinc and garlic oil.
5.Spiced rum and honey.. yeah I want lie that's cause I ran out of cough syrup and I didn't feel like going to the store.. that was two days ago.
Hopefully I'll dead or cured by tomorrow.

Oh ****in Jesus .. I swear when I get sinus problems I turn into like a mucus factory!! Like ungodly abnormal ****. LOL I ain't kiddin neither. The best relief I get is from heat/steam and peppermint salts. Epsom salt with peppermint. I soak a hot rag in it cover my face with and go to sleep in the hot tub.

slow and stiff.
I am finally out of the hard collar and in a soft one now. I have a bit more range of motion but not much as limited by the collar. I still can't do anything and cannot lift more than a glass of water right now either. It's got me meantally feeling like chit not being able to do anything. I look like chit too as it seems all my work is gone. No more muscle tone at all and weak as chit.
Other than that, I feel ok

Missed what happened to you. Neck surgery?
Don't get too down. I've had a ton of surgeries and muscle memory is an amazing thing. It makes you feel like crap when you're watching your muscles waste away, but they'll come back quick. I couldn't work out for 10 months once...I lost it all. In about 2 months after resuming, I was stronger than I was before my injury/surgery.

I wouldn't worry the muscle right now, just focus on recovery. Once you get back to working out then you can rebuild. Nows a good time to focus on diet though. Because the healthier you eat the faster you'll recover, less muscle loss and the faster you get back to training.

LOL I had chicken soup and 2 shots of rum for breakfast! I know that's really wrong in so many ways. But I can barely swallow cause I'm so congested and it's super windy today and the ragweed count is climbing so I knew I was in for miserable ride this morning!! It sucked so bad!!

Supposedly I am going to feel like a new man; right now, NOT.

Trying not to worry too much.
The nutrition though has been a bit sucky. I do need to tighten that up for sure. Guess I need to go back throguh your log here for some tastey dishes
And 2 shots of rum with breakfast isn't a bad thing. Hell, I modify my Granny's recipie when I am sick and congested and coughing; instead of 2-3 spoonfulls of bourbon and sugar, I make it 3 shots of bourbon and sugar
Hope you feel better soon Grace.

We use the anti inflammatory diet after surgery or injuries in camp. It's been successful in speeding recovery times. I'm started it today actually cause I feel like it's taking me to long to recover from being sick. It's a good eating plan for recovery. It lowers inflammation and boosts the immune system. I'm planning on using it for a while. I'll break it down later in case you want to see it.
