To bulk or not to bulk? Pics included.

So I posted some pics here on about a month ago or so about being in shape by summer and realized that I should really just keep working hard this year and next summer I should notice a big difference. However last time I posted I got many conflicting answers no whether or not I should bulk first and then cut down or get leaner first and then bulk up. I was hoping I could get a definitive answer and though the majority of this forum would come through to give me some solid advice on what to do first.

    So here are my stats:
    I am 30 yr old
Started lifting towards the end of last year. fcked around and finally got my act together this January and have been very dedicated ever since.
I have seen some results thus far. Lost a little fat and have more definition in my back, arms, sadly my chest is still really lacking, seen some improvement in abs.
I have been learning about diet, macros, etc. This board has been great, learning from all the veteran's posts.
    I am 163 lbs
I am guessing I am around 17-18% bf
I think I am consuming around 2300 cals a day.
Trying to eat healthy and well balanced and trying to hit my macros as much as I can.

So what do you guys think? Bulk or get leaner and then build from there?

Bulk. Start thinking about a cut when you're carrying at least 145lbs of lean body mass.
    300+, leave a link.

Really depends what look you are going for. But if you cut you will probably be more skinny than shreaded. I saw keep hitting the heavy weights and pounding the food down.
