Is it safe to say that most people that can bench 315 aren't natty?

I can 315x1 on flat, but I almost always DB bench now. I can probably do it incline even, I can do 225x13 incline and already have the CNS adaptation for 315 from the flat.
And I'm still natty, at least for the next two months I will be. Like the guy above me said though, it's different if you aren't super lean. I'm 218 and mid teens BF%.
Been lifting seriously for almost 2 years now, I have that former fat kid strength from being 303lbs.Übermensch

315 took like 2 years. i've been lifting again for ~6 months again and i'm hitting 315 for singles and 275 for reps already. I hit 225 for 14 or 15 i think too.
I think most people who are willing to put in the time can get it. my bench is pitiful compared to my squat and dead though. even my push press is nearing it."on the bech press i usually start off with 205 doing it 5 times then once i ad my usual extra 5 pounds on i can barely do it twice. How can i increase my chest cardio? so i can rep heavy weight easier" -dc1992hp
come by and check out my log. I'm racing to a 275x5 bench and 185x3 strict press with comps.

No but it's safe to say they have been training consistently for several years or are exceptionally genetically gifted.

My buddy is like 5'7 165 and has put up 380 before. His dead/squat are terrible but still. He's natty.
I know a few other people that can get that up naturally.
While rare, they are definitely out there. I'd say that's a bad way to judge if someone is natty or not. Strength varies on the individual (obviously). I know some guys out there that are just naturally insanely strong.

c'mon you guys aren't answering the 2nd part of the question, which is how many years of training did it take to get to 315, i recently reached 225 for 2 and that took a bit over 2 years for me to do since i never really dreamer bulked, i can only imagine it would take another 2-3 to get to 315

This right here. My best friend hit 335 at 176 in high school. He is 5'7-5'8. He has really short arms, so he crushes bench. He can still throw up 300lbs and he hasn't trained in years. He is 26 now.
Mechanics are what kill my bench. I am 5'10" with the wingspan of someone 6'3". BRB, barely handling 275. (Could train for power and get a lot higher...)

not necessarily, you just need to learn to program for strength and lift smarter.
this is a dumb excuse too. I have pectus excavatum and a wingspan of 71-72 at 5'11" and I have no problem pressing 275 for reps or pushpressing 250+ at under 200 pounds. work harder and smarter and change up form a bit, you'll get there eventually."on the bech press i usually start off with 205 doing it 5 times then once i ad my usual extra 5 pounds on i can barely do it twice. How can i increase my chest cardio? so i can rep heavy weight easier" -dc1992hp
