So! I recall reading something about how overexerting yourself can actually lead to negative nitrogen production, which is counterproductive for both gaining muscles, and losing fat, and It's one way of leading
to CNS fatigue. I personally believe that overly exerting yourself when you're just not up for it, is bad for progress, but haven't seen too many articles about it.
Anyway, I'd like to know what everybody does when they don't feel 100% on a bad day, do you guys reduce the reps and sets like me to a point where I feel like It's just enough for that particular session? Or do you just keep pushing regardless?

You want to push yourself just as hard, but because you aren't 100% the weight will naturally be alittle lighter than if you were 100% and feeling pumped.
It also depends on why you aren't feeling 100%, If its because you are sick, than i would drop the weight or have a week off, you dont want to push your body o hard. If you are extremely tired and are feeling really sure then that would be signs of over training and need a break. If you just don't want to go to the gym because you would rather sit at home and do nothing then harden up and get to the gym.
