Dad comes home drunk and mad, he pulls out a gun and shoots his wife and turns to the gun himself and pulls the trigger. The little girl sits behind a couch crying. The police came and took the little girl to a new family, and she went to her first Sunday school at church. She walks past the building and sees a picture of Jesus on the cross. The little girl then ask’s the teacher “How did that man get off the cross?” the Teacher replied “He never did” then the little girl argued “Yes he did. Because the night that my mommy and daddy died he sat next to me behind the couch, telling me everything was going to be alright”
HERE IS MY QUESTION..... why didnt jesus come down to the drunk father and talk to him to put down the gun???? i guess christ wouldnt score to high on an iq test..... or is this one of those "jesus works in mysterious ways" thing?

one of my best friends just died 2 weeks ago, at the memorial service his wife kept telling me god works in mysterious ways and that even though shes all alone right now raising their 2 year old son she knows god just has a "plan" and that heaven needed him more than she did, and more than i did
i fuking raged and said no god and no heaven needed my friend more than me and more than his 2 year old son and his wife. I dont get religion...

Because the father was a drunkard. Why would Jesus waste his time saving his drunk ass? The little girl and the world are both better off with him being dead.
I don't know about the mom but if she got shot first maybe it caught Jesus by surprise.~ Never Having Kids So Can Save Up For a 4K TV and a PLP Computer Setup Crew ~

Whoops wondered into the R/P section. Clicking back button
Sad how people have nothing better to do than tear down what helps others cope with life and tragedy. You need to believe there is something good and pure in existence in a world where people rape and murder, power is abused, everyone you look up to is really as fuked up as you (are you aware?). People are so down on religion yet its the foundation for many of society's staples like do not muder, do not commit aldutry or rape, dont steal, love your neighbor.

every world war was started by some government, yet society didnt do shiet to stop it... stop blaming god, stop blaming christians, and DO SOMETHING

This is a very good quote, regardless of who it's from.
It's basically just saying "Don't go off of blind faith for what you believe in"
Many, many people are guilty of this :/ Christians, Buddhists, atheists, etc...
The only part I don't agree with in that quote is "When you find anything that agrees with reason and etc etc, then accept it.."

I don't agree with what she said either :/
My father passed away last December actually, and I don't think "Heaven needed him more"
Heaven doesn't need anyone... I do believe by God's grace we are allowed into heaven through salvation.
If it makes you feel any better man, I believe if your friend is in heaven right now, he is the happiest he's ever been.
That's one way that I was able to cope with losing my father. He had been suffering from cancer for about a year and I didn't want him to have to suffer that pain anymore. If heaven is a place of eternal peace and joy, then I know my dad is finally at rest in paradise, and although i'm gonna miss him, i'm happy for him.
