I bought some ON BCAA's. The bottle says take a serving before and/or immediately after your workout between meals. When do you guys take yours? Thanks

take them before and after workout since thats when you are mostly active

I haven't been able to get a straight answer on this either brother. I've read university studies which conflict each other on the pre/during/post question. Also have read conflicting bro-science posts in here and other forums about it. Seems like everyone has a differing opinion on how fast BCAAs get digested, get into the bloodstream, get to the muscles, when the muscles actually need them, whether your body stores what it can't immediately use, etc.
In the end and after reading myself in circles, I tried out a few different dosing strategies and have seen and felt the best results with taking them within 30 mins pre training and immediately after training.

I take MP BCAA pills pre and post workout and drink Gaspari SizeOn intra workout. I take half a dose of the pills post workout since my protein has got bcaas in it already

I've recently started a workout routine after deciding I needed to get healthy and I've been doing a lot of reading about metabolism, proteins, and how they tie in to weight loss and muscle gains. I recall reading something from Layne Norton where he said he takes BCAAs before he goes to bed to help keep his metabolism running high during sleep.

I throw a scoop in my water bottle in the am and just keep topping off the water throughout the day. Then I do the same right before I workout and drink it throughout exercise. So two scoops per day, but I make it last so my body is constantly getting the BCAAs.

Start the day with them first thing in the morning (AAEFX EFP hBCAA) as your body goes all night with nothing. My theory is... I like to allow them to be the first thing I ingest for quick uptake (like a sponge)

Personally I take them only on days when I do my fasted cardio in the mornings I don't take them everyday because that would be expensive, if I were to take them everday it would be 2 times at most right when i wake up and during my workout. Wouldn't be to effective before bed as it's so fast absorbing a slower absorbing supplement like casseine would be better.
