How to fix sliding on bench?
Unless you have a competition bench at your gym I'm assuming this is also a problem with most of you. Just wondering if any of you have found little tricks to make this stop or at least make it so you can keep your arch.

even if a commercial bench feels a little slippery, you should be able to keep your setup as you're benching with no sliding going on. stay tighter

I get to use a forza bench bur the pad is still pretty terrible. Getting tighter helps but nothing compares to just being cemented to a bench like at a comp. Thanks guys for your imput I'll give the drawer liner a try. Reps all around.

drawner liner will definitely work.
but I also had this problem, and really analyzing/fixing my form solved the problem actually.
You really need to find that "sweet spot" on your upper traps, where you can really drive through with your legs. It's hard to explain it through text, but you'll find it with more experience. Get a tight arch, really try to concentrate all of the "pressure" on your mid/upper traps

I was benching with a tucked foor position on my toes and found that spot and wasn't really having any trouble with sliding, but i also was getting zero leg drize and wasn't very stable. So I switched to a flat foot position and now that i can get some leg drive the problem came back. Hopefully i can figure it out in the coming weeks. thanks!

I just recently started using the drawer liner, but before that I was using a stick-em spray that baseball players use for their hands when batting (not tar). That worked pretty good too, but I had to keep buying cans when I ran out. The drawer liner works just as good and you don't have to replace very often if ever.

Just chalk the bench or your upper back. I can't arch on a slippery bench either. I rely on my upper back staying put and driving onto it.
