I hope that Hitchens and Jillette are correct, that religions are in their death throes. I kind of doubt it though. But if it wasn't for the internet it would have been far more difficult for me to find resources about religion, science, etc.
Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

I believe this is the case, at least religion in it's current form.

Penn is forgetting something, Christians have a loop hole. That loop hole is Jesus, apparently, his "sacrifice" means that you get to believe in all of the bible, but you only have to do the things you agree with, and follow the rules you like, because everyone is saved, as long as you believe.
Link me one of your posts.

Good video. He raises a good point about the level of cognitive dissonance in many religious people that aren't completely nuts.

I am mot so sure about that.
Much like disco hit the dance floors again, so will religion.
The solution? Live and let live, who cares?
I hate that people are indocrinating their children, but as a former indoctrinee i do know that free very real.
But people need hope.

lulz. Hitting dat laphroaig tonight I see.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
