    Teardrop cramping

Every time I train legs, my Teardrop muscle in my quads begin to cramp immediately after I get a pump in my legs. This holds me back from training quads the rest of the workout as any quad exercise hurts real bad and it feels like my teardrop is going to pull/cramp immensely. It's especially bad AFTER I workout because when I try to walk/stand up/take stairs sometimes my teardrops will randomly cramp bad and cause me to be immobile. Stretching before/during/after has not helped the situation.. and foam rolling hasn't been improving it either. Any help guys?

is the cramping from squats? If so try changing your stance, go narrower, or switch to box squats or front squats for a few weeks

tried cold showers or putting an icepack on it?

are you staying hydrated? I think potassium also prevents cramping

my magnesium/sodium/potassium intake is good. The cramping also occurs from leg press/leg extension/lunges/etc.. it comes when I get a pump in my quads so virtually any exercise that overloads my quads will cause it to cramp.... doesn't occur during warmup sets but as soon as I get to my working sets/heavier weights it happens.

The leg raise machine commonly does this to many people.

I find leaning backward (adjust the seat so you can lean back pretty far).........helps from keeping things getting injured. You still hit the teardrop, but also hits the upper quads more and leaves you with less pain around the knee area

    Good luck
