asking because my top half of the body is huge, but my legs are tiny! Heard you should do it twice a week, but i've only been doing them once a week, I don't want to over train them tho. whats yalls opinion?

It's up to your personal opinion. I've had powerlifter friends swear by once a week and others that preferred working them more often.
I recently started doing legs twice a week with about 3 days between workouts. I've seen increased strength gains (compared to doing them once a week) and to me personally it is much more enjoyable.
Just don't overwork them. I usually focus my first leg workout on heavy weight with fewer reps, the following workout later in the week is lighter weight but is still difficult.
