..been a tough few weeks....
We lost one of our parrots after almost 30 years....pretty devastating, even though it hated me.....Some of you old timers might remember some of my stories.....
My partner was destroyed, since he had him for 8 years prior to me.....
As hateful as that bird was, he was a part of our family.....
Three weeks later, we do have a new baby in the house....it's been good for my parter to have another little bird to take care of....hand feeding at the moment....my bird has gotten really affectionate again
LOTS of noise in the house......
Off for a few days....that stupid number under my picture changes tomorrow, so
there have been lots of parties.....some surprise coming up tonite or tomorrow..not sure when....

Sorry to hear that, kupoppo. It's always really hard when part of the family - even our pets - are suddenly gone from our lives. *hugs*
As for that annoying number... yeah, I know what you mean. I have removed mine from the site. There is actually an option in your Bodyspace control panel to do so if it bothers you that much. Before, I would go to the misc and post, and they'd be all "You're over THIRTY??? Get lost, old fart!". So I keep it hidden and pretend to be 28 (believable) and they say it no more. Give that a try.
Is anyone going to Dore Alley this year? It happens on my birthday and I have no idea what to do to celebrate, but I have to get there for either Dore or Folsom for work. Two pigs, one stone...The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

lol! I wouldn't call it training especially since I've been on hiatus from the gym for two months. Producing "Cabaret" has been a bitch but well received and great ticket sales. We have extended the show for two weeks and I think since the show is on rails, I can finally make my return to the gym. I'm usually at the Glendale facility if you ever want to workout together. Good luck on your journey.

BIG NEWS!
Michael Lucas wants to interview me later this week. If you don't know who he is, I recommend looking him up or his studio, Lucas Entertainment. LOTS of hot masculine men there.
Anyway, according to the email I just got, they thanked me for the photo's [sic] (damn farmer's apostrophes ), and that they like what they see. Want to see more of me, so I get an interview with one of my favorite studios. This is really quite an honor, and ... cue the nerves. This is what nervous feels like!! #whimper
The timing is not only fortuitous, it is also really good. If I pass the interview (and hopefully get hard this time) and get an offer, then I can shoot in New York. Hopefully after my trip to Philadelphia in two weeks, you know, since I'm OUT that way, and then they can fly me home. Easy as Mike B's mom. Sounds good in theory, but that's it for right now. Do any of us live in New York? The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

No, no, I can still do my opera. It's part of who I am. Just because I take up a new hobby (lol) doesn't mean I have to leave the old one behind. And let's be realistic - this interview may not work out. He might not want me after all - maybe I won't want HIM. The latter was certainly the case for Treasure Island, a company known for being too disgusting even for me. (Look up the immense controversy they started with the "1000 Load F*ck".) That was enough to turn me off from their work.
So anyway, I can still do opera. I can't imagine my life without it.The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

I did succeed at my interview. He looked at my body, and admitted that while I have a good frame and a cute face, my body isn't good enough. I was then lectured a bit on carbs and workouts five times a day. As if I don't ALREADY do those things! But it's not a rejection, it's a challenge. He said if I can get my abs to show and fill out the frame a bit better, we can reschedule the interview. So I am going to accept this challenge and make it happen. It'll be like my contest prep days all over again! But perhaps with better results this time.
For a while now, I've been doing workouts with Cody Storey on DailyBurn.com. So far my weight is pretty good, and I finally got below 170. But I'd really like to get to 165 or even 160. Surely that would get the abs to show. They were here at 180 in January - where did they go? No worries, I'll find them. I'm not going to let this keep me down. The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

Off to Chicago Pride Weekend tomorrow! Whoo! Already got guys lined up to play with on my 2-day holiday. The entertainment shows don't interest me much - I don't recognize a single act on the bill, so I'll find places to drink, dance and f*ck.
And Whore A: Summer is here at last.
I'll be back on Monday with stories and pictures. Hopefully GOOD stories this time, and not missed/lost connections or tales of being picked up by ugly hookers or excruciatingly long hours in a bus station. I think I've got it figured out by now.The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

Home at last! And a nice time I've had of it.
This was a Chicago Pride to remember. Always an adventure, and always meeting new people. Went for two days. Didn't go hungry at all, but got severely dehydrated. Scott's cheap enough to not drink a ton of beer, and that will dry you out faster anyway, so that wasn't the issue. The lack of available clean water was.
On Saturday I finally caught up with my old sleeved buddy John from two Prides ago. He barely remembered me. We talked for only a minute - I think he was really surprised. Later I met my friend Ryden and his old flame Steve. We went to a number of bars on the strip, including Hydrate, Cell Block, North End and Replay. Since they had a history, I felt a little left out of the conversations, and went exploring other guys and opportunities. A good time together but I don't think we'll see each other again.

Pouring rain came later in the day. My clothes got so wet and fortunately I had another shirt and socks in my bag. I had signed up for a show but the rain cancelled it, so I went to Roscoe's and danced. Met a cute guy (Will) from New Zealand, who was fun to be with for a couple hours.
There was a fisting party at MansCountry up in Andersonville. Having no other plans, went to it. Not as hot as it sounds. The one guy I fisted was not that attractive and turned out to be positive anyway, so that rather killed my interest. After trying my luck (and the place was kinda trolly and only one guy I was interested in), I checked out and decided to go to Touche for the remainder of the night. Being one o'clock in the morning, the bus wasn't running unless I was not near a stop, so I walked the fourteen blocks from the bathhouse to Touche. No incidents, but what a loooooong walk. I met some guys, none of whom were interested in play for the night.
When closing time came at five o'clock, I met some guys who had been at Jackhammer out front and we went to one's apartment. Because my feet and ankles were screaming and I was tired, they put me in one room with a small couch and an east-facing window. They did crystal in the next room and were quite loud, so I got no sleep at all. I eventually went to the other room and socialized - stayed sober - and just hung out for a bit. Left at nine o'clock, no sleep.
I felt bad, but wasn't a zombie or dropping off like I had been in previous experiences. Went back to Boystown on Sunday morning. It decided to be a sunny day, although chilly and windy and foggy. This was a better day. Early in the festival I met this *really* gorgeous man with a fantastic body. He looked familiar to me. I approached him and talked to him - turns out to be Johnny V! He's a porn model for Falcon, and I properly introduced myself. Turns out we know each other from our correspondence, and he wants to talk to me about my trouble with growing muscle.
I went to Bobby Love's, a bar on the north part of B-town, and got a refreshing electrolyte drink. Pomegranate. NOM. This hunk of man served it to me.
Later went back out to the festivlol. Cram Fashion had rescheduled their show. They were hosting an underwear model contest to be held at the Kit Kat Lounge. Andrew Christian underwear was sponsoring. I had entered this the previous day, so I signed up again and waited for my time. Here's me with the other contestants (minus the two who came in later).
I did not place in the top three. It's pretty easy to guess who the winners were before the show. I got only polite applause from the audience, but I really shook my ass and danced for the crowd. Did my best and had fun, and that's what is important. Plus the underwear was free.
Went to the opening of the new It's Chloe. The club, Spin, used to be there. They now have an upstairs on-site distillery. This was pretty dull at 6pm when the doors were opened for the first time, so I did not stay. Went to dinner at Halsted's. When I arrived, I spotted a man with a really nice camera and he was shooting several shots of people. I asked him if he shoots for a magazine, and offered to pose in my new underwear. While preparing a shot, some other guy (Colin) makes the "perfect candid" and joins us for the shot. Also an ex-stripper from Lucky Horseshoe. Think of it as a progression: a wannabe dancer (Colin), the porn model, and the EX-stripper. I got a shot of us after. Just random weirdness.
The ex-stripper tells me I'm going to make it in porn. Colin agrees but doesn't like my stage name. I ate a quick dinner - the Belmont Chicken sammich, which is a chicken breast with goat cheese and spinach and a basil pesto sauce. Then I went to Sidetrack and met my friend Jake. We hung out and talked a lot, and a lot of videos from the 60s and 70s were playing on the screens. I remember seeing video of The Carpenters, the duet from "Little Shop of Horrors", some Barbara Streisand, some Sonny and Cher, some Captain & Tineel, and a Wonder Woman video. I actually enjoyed myself for the first time at this bar. Previous experience had been that I do NOT enjoy it. Last night was different.
But the temperature had suddenly dropped, and so had the fog. Jake and I went back to his place for the night. No sex, but did I really have the energy to f*ck? He was fine with that, and I got some much-needed rest. We said our goodbyes this morning at 9am, and I got back to Union Station just in time to get the bus home. Rained heavily this morning too, but it's a nice day at home now.
Hope you enjoyed my adventure. There was a lot more I didn't share, but these are the highlights. There was a lot of walking and nothing worth mentioning in between most of these. While at Roscoe's yesterday, I observed a sign in the window. "Help wanted for Pride Parade Weekend". So I expressed interest and if they want me, I will get to go back next weekend. I'll be working but I'll get to do the Pride thing again and maybe have more adventures. Plus I applied for work at Cram Fashion. Scott needs a job in the city. But yay! Happy Pride!
