Roughly at the halfway point for the Great Gay Off 2013. New pics and stats up. Didnt do as well as I had hoped at the stage but with only 3 months out of the 6 actually doing something active and only 1.5 months back in an actual gym I`m not going to be too depressed about it, but its time for the change to get a bit more dramatic. Otherwise Im gonna look a dahm mess come London Pride 2013 and I`m gonna be handing money over to Woody!

I'm starting to eat more because I think I may wanna bulk up, but I'm not sure yet. But also, I want to keep my metabolism high as well. About to start hitting the gym 5x a week, since my schedule this semester is light. Since Tues/Thurs are my busiest days, nothing like working out to relieve the stress of a busy day.

Today my hunny will come to my gym. We're gonna find out what his workouts are like and why he's not losing weight. I'm gonna make him bleed, hehe.

Only thing is it tastes bad and the serving size is 2 scoops... (but the scoop is the size of a laundry detergent scoop... fukn huge!!!)
any suggestions for making this stuff go down easier!?
*** I also burnt up my blender the first time I tried to mix it because it was so thick... I'm tellin yall I don't know how anyone does this

When your shakes are wrecking hardware, something is wrong. lol
I keep reading bad things about weight gainers and how they have unnecessary fillers and high sugar content. Sounds like you're taking the weight gainer out of convenience, but you can also look up homemade shakes. You're supposed to be able to get a better distribution of calories by adding food to your regular whey protein. The shakes I've seen typically have a base of whey protein and oats (ran through a coffee grinder), and to increase calories people will replace a measure of the milk with heavy cream and add peanut butter, cottage cheese, eggs and fruit to the shake, as well as healthy oils like olive and omega-3s for fat. Depending on your brand, and since a lot of weight gainers have to be blended anyway, you can come up with several alternatives so you're not chugging the same shake day after day.
In the meantime, to make your current shake taste better you can add spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin/apple pie spice) and food extracts (vanilla, butter & nut, almond) to modify the flavor.Last edited by broad.stance; 01-07-2013 at 09:32 AM.

All right boys, now watch how this is done. The key is to put it all in your groin and your back.

Water it down more or mix it up with milk - milk useually heps makes shakes taste better and with its own weight in cals you might be able to reduce the scoops a lil bit. Prob with the milk thing though - is it can add up cost wise, which brand is it? If its that eggy Atlas stuff read the instructions a little closer I had the same prob with that stuff years ago but turned out it was two scoops daily not two scoops per shake - dumb wording but still.

Good Advice.
A mate of mine (who used to compete in the Olympia years ago) would mix protien, cuppa soup, boiling water and cooked chicken breast or beef (depending on the cuppa soup flavour) and mix that up in a blender. I tried it but I have no idea what protien powder he used cause when he made it it tasted ok, my attempt at home, not so good. Most protien powders are relatively strong flavours - even with the mildest vanilla, it just didnt work.MAY I BE AS BEUTIFULL AS THOSE i DEEM TO BE.

Thanks bro. It is going great for us. We spend lots of time together and we are very happy. We've even had a few intimate moments, but no sex. And we're OK with that.
With regard to his workouts, I could see - within ten minutes - that he doesn't push himself very hard. And he pussed out on the Smith machine stuff. I made him sweat anyway, and he said it's the best workout he's had in a while. Granted he's not as advanced as I, but he really enjoyed keeping up with me and getting his balls busted. Motivation is his big issue. He told me he'll go to the gym, spend a good half hour doing weights and then cardio, and then going home and sitting round the rest of the day, being a veggie. Nutrition is the other thing that seems to be stopping his gains. He just doesn't get hungry, so he doesn't eat, doesn't keep the metabolism firing. I can't make him do anything; all I can do is offer advice and help in whatever way I can. Ultimately, it's up to him to apply what I teach.
In other news, I have successfully applied to have my company perform at the next PrideFest! Yay! We'll find out shortly if we'll be performing. The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown
