Finally confessed my attraction to someone...and the bloody bastard has the nerve to already have a boyfriend! XD Well, he's off to University out-of-town (but not out-of-state) after the summer anyway, so the most we could have had was a torrid affair of shallow meaningless sex. He's a virgin too, so there'd have been a lot of experimentation, eagreness to try new things, and the painstaking task of teaching him every single aspect of how to please a man, and how to have a man please him.

Think of it this way, we've only got to change 11% of the folks' minds to repeal. I was disappointed, but certainly not surprised. It is more of an urban/rural thing here in NC. The larger cities shot down the ammendment, but the numbers still didn't go our way.

Jerbs has a first date with a new guy tonight! Will share if anything interesting happens. If nothing else, I have been going on more dates in the past year. I can't be the *only* one looking for me!

So here's what happened on Jerbs' date last Friday:

Brian and I met on a dating website, and I asked him out. We met at a local restaurant - he was right on time, and very polite. We enjoyed a decent dinner together and some sparkling conversation. We each paid for our own noms, and when dinner was over, we went for a walk at the nearby bikepath. We shared a little more about each other, and decided we like each other, so there will be a second date. So far no plans yet, as he had plans in Wisconsin over the weekend. I did ask him to Bingo but no response yet. A very nice guy who meets all my dating criteria, and he wasn't over-eager to jump into bed on the first date.

I will keep seeing Brian. Rick will be happy to know that no pics will be posted.

Jerbs had a second successful date with Brian last night. I went to his place - a very lovely condo - and watched "The Butterfly Effect" which I had never seen. It was a good date, and we both wished we had more time to talk. (It was getting late and he had to be up for work at 6am.) I want to continue seeing him, and I think we will keep dating.
