No, this isn't another MGN thread. Lets recommend some real, quality, good tasting stuff that doesn't have rat poop/dirt/arsenic in it. This is my current rotation...



Metabolic Nutrition Protizyme, PB Cookie Flavor - Expensive as fuark but tastes awesome.



DeNovo Nutrition MPS, White Cake Flavor - Affordable and tasty.



Optimum Nutrition Casein, Chocolate Supreme - Sludge errday.

Nutrition Zone reccomended to me Dymatize Casein over ON Casein for taste. I got the chocolate milk flavor. Disgusting.


Erick, have you tried the Dymatize? Im hesitant to buy another tub and just waste the $$ if it really isnt that different.....

My top list and rotation when I can.

ON Casein; Vanilla - (Hands down, the shiz! If I could only ever have one more protein, it'd be this. Nothing touches it for volume and thickness. Do also buy Choc or Choc PB)

Dymatize XT; Fudge Brownie (slightly thinner than casein, cheaper, but tastes better) ..
Dymatize XT; Vanilla (Same thickness as FB, taste really grew on me, didn't like it at the start)

Myofusion; Vanilla and Choc PB (really good blend, love both flavours. Vanilla tastes like butterscotch and apparently PB is quite individual - Found them decently thick for a blend....especially Choc PB)

Dymatize Elite Whey; Vanilla (cheap for me, tastes good, 1c/1f per serving. Often use it for travelling)


Those that deserve a mention;
Myofusion; Choc, strawb and cnc
UP 2.0 (just too goddamn expensive here)


Spicy - never had Dymatize Casein, but I can tell you that you will NOT be dissapointed with XT Fudge Brownie. If you like banana apparently that is really good, but you mayyy be disappointed with vanilla...but the flavour grows on you.

Peanut butter chocolate and milk is my fav shake ever. I use vanilla to make berry smoothies and fluff.

When I dont have cash I buy some generic horse **** from a local dealer. Does the trick but tastes like ass sweat

Ive heard that about the XT and ive heard trutein is legit too, but I have some issues with whey powder and avoid it like the plague, so they are out of the running.

of XF I've tried lemon cream pie, cinnamon roll, choc pb and cookies n creme. Pretty keen on giving vanilla/strawberry/banana a go but very expensive stuff, anyone know how they rank against lemon cream pie? FYI lemon cream pie is probably my favourite protein

ON - Double Rich Chocolate has been my go to for years now. Everything else I try tastes horrible. I have given and thrown away pretty much everything else I have tried.

I tried several types of caesin too and 100% bring about gag reflex LOL!

ON Cookie Dough Casein - it's pretty good, but it's also the first casein powder I've ever had. I really like the texture, though; thinking of getting Dymatize Casein XT in Cookies and Cream or Dymatize Elite XT Fudge Brownie next.

XF UP2.0 Cinnamon roll, its heaven. Sometimes a bit tougher to fit into macros.

I usually don't consume them as shakes, I like to add them to GY, CC and make over night oats.

Bought the 2lb tub in the Cookies n Cream flavor and was not disappoint. Even tastes good with water but the texture is a little thin for my taste. Still good though

Trunutrition Sciences's basic whey/casein is cheap and tasty enough (well...maybe not the casein). Plus, they're one of the few companies I actually trust.

Past that, I'll really only spend money on powder if it's on sale (wheycheap, that BSN sale recently, etc.) and if I somewhat trust the company.

I stick with ON whey or BSN Syntha-6, and ON casein -- when I do take any. I have to think of casein as a pudding, not something you easily drink
